This research has been conducted in order to check the effectiveness of the careerman storytelling program which was based on Holland’s vocational Personality Theory on the elementary student's career-development. In order to achieve the object of the research, the experiment has been taken the pretest-posttest control group design method between the experiment group for applying the careerman storytelling program and the comparative group for not applying the program. In order to verify the effectiveness for career-development, career-development test used Jong Bum Lee(2005)’s test which has secured relatively high reliability as .936. The data processing were subjected to t-Test using the SPSS IBM Statistics Statistical program 22, the significance level (p) was set to 5%. The results drawn from this research above is as follows: First, the result score for career-development after the comparison between the experimental group which has been applied to the careerman storytelling program and the comparison group which has been not applied to the program showed the significant distinction at the 5% level. Therefore, the careerman storytelling program has positive effects for career-development. Second, the result score for career-development after the comparison between before the applying the careerman storytelling program and after the applying the program to experimental group showed the significant distinction at the 1% level. Therefore, the careerman storytelling program has positive effects for career-development of experimental group.

본 연구는 Holland의 직업적 성격유형론에 따른 직업인 스토리텔링을 활용한 진로교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 진로발달에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 수행되었으며, 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 직업인 스토리텔링을 활용한 진로교육 프로그램을 실시한 실험집단과 실시하지 않은 비교집단에 사전-사후 비교검증을 실시하였다. 진로발달에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 사용된 진로발달 검사지는 신뢰도가 .936인 비교적 높은 신뢰도가 확보된 이종범(2005)의 검사 도구를 사용하였다. 자료의 처리는 IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 통계프로그램을 사용하여 t-Test를 실시하였으며, 유의수준(p)은 5%로 설정하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직업인 스토리텔링을 활용한 진로교육 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단과 실시하지 않은 비교집단의 진로발달 점수를 비교한 결과, 5% 수준에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 따라서 직업인 스토리텔링을 활용한 진로교육 프로그램은 진로발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 직업인 스토리텔링을 활용한 진로교육 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단의 사전 진로발달 점수와 사후 진로발달 점수를 비교한 결과, 1% 수준에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 따라서 직업인 스토리텔링을 활용한 진로교육 프로그램은 실험집단의 진로발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다.
