Researches on Korean traditional idea of ‘Poongrhu’ have been done continuously in various fields. Whenever the emergence and changing trend of new arts and various cultures have become the themes of research in Korea, ‘Poongrhu’ have been engaged and discussed together. This study aims to focus on the emotional part or affectus side of ‘Poongrhu’ that have been neglected in the previous researches relatively. This study was motivated by the emotional fever and communicational aspect of ‘Poongrhu’ that might have been included in the concept but not seldom treated before. Also, the expectation and intention of finding the clues to solve the problems in our society that communications among the social actors in Korea are not sufficient are the background of this study. Reviews of the previous researches on ‘Poongrhu’, discussions on the characteristics of communications in the age of current convergence, and suggestions of several implications of ‘Poongrhu’ in this age were presented in this study. ‘Poongrhu’ reminds us the communications in the age of convergence should look forward to common good, harmony, integration, sharing, and enlightenment, with pleasure.

풍류에 관한 연구는 다양한 분야와 영역에서 지속적으로 이루어졌다. 현재도 새로운 문화예술의 발생과 흐름에 관한 연구에 꾸준히 풍류를 불러내고, 풍류와 연관시켜 논의를 진행한다. 이 연구는 기존의 연구들에서 빠뜨렸거나 다소 소홀히 다루었다고 여겨지는 풍류의 심정적 감응이나 공감, 정서적 반응이나 파급과 같은 측면에 주목하고자 한다. 풍류가 담고 있는 풍부한 의미 중에는 감정적 열기와 같은 기운의 흐름이나 소통과 연관시켜 볼 수 있는 측면이 존재하리라고 보는 것이 논의의 출발점이다. 최근 우리 사회에서 늘 주요 사회문제 중의 하나로 거론되는 소통의 부족이나 부재를 해결하는 데 하나의 실마리를 찾을 수도 있지 않을까 하는 기대와 의도도 이 연구를 하게 된 배경이다. 논의는 기존의 풍류 관련 연구를 검토하고, 융복합시대 소통의 특성을 정리해 본 후, 풍류사상이 우리가 사는 현 시대에 주는 몇 가지 함의를 추출하는 순서로 했다. 풍류사상은 융복합시대의 소통이 즐거움 속에서, 공동선, 어우러짐과 조화로움, 화합과 통합, 세움과 나눔 그리고 깨우침을 지향해야 함을 일깨워 준다.
