- This paper is written for the use aspect of typical honorific expression in the apology statement. For that, I analyzed each component and found out that the apology statement can be composed as follow．1. Appreciation 2. explanation 3. Apology 4. Request ．They use honorific expression considering the condition to form the intention of the expression. The following patterns are mostly used as typical honorific expressions. 1) ｢heiso，(favor)，ｍakotoni arigatou gozaimasu．｣ ｢平素(恩恵のことば)誠にありがとうございます｣ 2) ｢konotabi，(explanation)，masita．｣ ｢この度(事情)ました｣ 3) ｢-samani，taihen，okake-，hukauku owabimoushiagemasu．｣ ｢─様に、大変─おかけ─深くお詫び申し上げます｣ 4) ｢kongotomo，goaikotamawarimasu，onegaimoushiagemasu．｣ ｢今後とも ご愛顧賜ります お願い申し上げます｣ In conclusion, honorific expressions in the apology statement are used to exactly indicate the intention of the expression, make visitors who read and the behavior towards them high, and deliver the favor courteously.
