The purpose of this study is to draw implications on prioritizing the 6 modules of the national level school violence prevention program, which include sympathy, communication, conflict resolution, self-respect, emotional control, and awareness and handling of school violence; we also aim to investigate the best order in which the modules should be applied. The research subjects were 352 elementary school students, 262 middle school students, and 246 high school students, and the collected data were analyzed with structure equation model analysis. The findings of this study are as follows. First, the model set based on previous studies appears to be appropriate for our data, and it can be understood that the 6 modules of the Eoullim Program, the national level school violence prevention program, bring a greater synergistic effect when operated in a united and sequential manner than when operated separately. Second, when the influences of modules that affect the awareness and handling of school violence were reviewed, the sympathy module was found to have the greatest influence among all modules. Hence, it can be interpreted that the sympathy module works better in changing the perception of and attitude towards school violence than other modules. Third, when the indirect effects that influence the awareness and handling of school violence were investigated in detail, the route with the greatest indirect effects among all significant routes was found to be the ‘communication → sympathy → awareness and handling of school violence’ route, followed by the ‘conflict resolution → self-respect → awareness and handling of school violence’ and the ‘self-respect → emotional control → awareness and handling of school violence’ routes. Therefore, in order to induce changes in awareness of and behavior towards school violence, schools may choose the order in which the 6 modules are applied according to the aforementioned criteria.

이 연구는 국가수준 학교폭력 예방 프로그램인 어울림프로그램의 6개 모듈인 공감, 의사소통, 갈등해결, 자기존중감, 감정조절, 학교폭력 인식 및 대처 모듈 중 가장 우선적으로 적용하면 좋을 모듈은 무엇인지 그리고 어떤 순서로 모듈을 적용하는 것이 좋을지에 대한 시사점을 도출하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 초등학생 352명, 중학생 262명, 고등학생은 246명이었으며, 구조방정식모형 분석을 활용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 선행연구 결과를 바탕으로 설정한 모형은 자료에 적합한 모형으로 볼 수 있으며, 국가수준 학교폭력 예방프로그램인 어울림프로그램은 6개 모듈을 각각 운영하기 보다는 서로 통합적이고 순차적인 프로그램으로 운영할 때, 더 큰 시너지 효과를 가지는 것으로 이해할 수 있다. 둘째, 학교폭력 인식 및 대처에 영향을 미치는 모듈들의 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 가장 큰 영향력을 가지는 모듈은 공감 모듈인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 공감 모듈이 다른 모듈에 비해서 학교폭력에 대한 인식과 태도를 변화시키는데 더 용이하다고 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 학교폭력 인식 및 대처에 영향을 미치는 간접효과를 상세 분해한 결과, 유의한 경로 중 간접효과가 큰 경로는 ‘의사소통 → 공감 → 학교폭력 인식 및 대처’ 경로, ‘갈등해결 → 자기존중감 → 학교폭력 인식 및 대처’ 경로, 그리고 ‘자기존중감 → 감정조절 → 학교폭력 인식 및 대처’ 경로, ‘공감 → 감정조절 → 학교폭력 인식 및 대처’ 경로의 순이었다. 따라서 학교에서 6개 모듈 중 학교폭력 인식과 태도에 대한 변화를 유도하는 데 있어서 우선적으로 적용할 수 있는 모듈 순서는 이러한 기준에 준하여 선택할 수 있다.
