The study is to analyze artistic discourse of dance performance employed as story content to see the artistic value of dance as story content. The film is subjected to analysis of text, recipient understanding and media discourse to identify the artistic value of dance inherent in the work. , based on the original work , substituted self disunion for dichotomy of white swan and black swan. It stroke fire by tuning ballet world to modern life through the universal subject, human life, always in agony over self identity. The discourse that modern people saw the life they went through in ‘ballet’considered high culture, which implies social awareness of dance is changing. In media discourse, quite a number of articles about reward records and box-office success of aroused interests in it. With timely formed ballet trend, the attention of media was moved to ‘ballet’ along with the film. is worthy of attention in that it brought artistic world out to the world. The discourse that interests in ‘ballet’ became increased with its success implies that artistic value was expressed through story content.

본 연구는 스토리콘텐츠로 활용된 무용 작품의 예술적 담론을 분석하여 스토리콘텐츠로서 무용의 예술적 가치를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 이에 영화 <블랙 스완>을 분석대상으로 설정하여 텍스트 분석, 수용자 해독 분석, 미 디어 담론 분석을 진행하였다. 이를 통해 작품에 내재된 무용의 예술적 가치를 규명하고자 하였다. 영화 <블랙 스완>은 <백조의 호수> 원작을 기반으로 백조와 흑조의 이분법에 자아분열을 대입하였다. 특히 자아정체성에 늘 고민하는 인간의 삶이라는 보편적인 주제를 통해 발레의 세계와 현대인의 삶을 동조시켜 감동을 이끌어내었다. 이에 수용자 해독은 고급문화로 여겨진 ‘발레’에서 현대인이 겪는 삶을 보았다는 담론을 형성하였고, 이는 무용에 대한 사회적 인식이 변화를 꾀하고 있다고 유추할 수 있다. 또한 미디어 담론은 영화 <블랙 스완>은 수상실적과 흥행 성과에 대한 많은 양의 기사가 보도되어 영화에 관심을 불러일으켰으며, 시기적으로 발레의 트렌드가 형성 되면서 영화와 함께 언론의 시선이 ‘발레’로 옮겨지게 되었다. 이처럼 영화 <블랙 스완>은 예술의 세계가 세상 밖에 드러났다는 점에 대하여 가치를 지녔다고 볼 수 있다. 나아가 영화가 흥행하면서 ‘발레’에 관한 관심도 증가 하였다는 담론은 스토리콘텐츠를 통해 예술적 가치가 발현되었다는 것을 보여주고 있다.
