This research aims to analyze current operational system of practical education, in particular of family and home management, in national universities of education and Jeju National University, proposing standard curriculum, and to enable prospective teachers to build up teaching capacity. Main Research method is to survey syllabi by email and telephone call, of which the research outcomes are as follows : First of all, the most popular curriculum of the family and home management are of two academic credits, three hours, compulsory courses, and for senior students. Those courses are related to Family Science, home management, or Housing. Second, most of the courses aim to provide knowledge and understanding of concepts associated with family relationship and family formation, but also covers enhancement of expertise for resource management and school curriculum application. Third, common course goals include understanding of family, family formation, family life learning, money and time management, communication and decision making, and their teaching notes and textbook research and development. Fourth, main delivery method is lecture, followed by presentation, discussion, on-site visit. And evaluation method focuses on writing test, but presentation, homework, and quiz are also used. Fifth, a proposed standard curriculum on family and home management is developed with a goal to learn family or family-related living environment and resource management based upon national curriculum, and apply the knowledge to elementary school system. And its teaching contents are comprised of family understanding, family formation, family diversity, family science theory, communication and decision making, development of family living education, time and economic resource management, curriculum analysis, research and development of textbook, development of teaching notes. Evaluation methods are both written tests and performance evaluation including assignment evaluation and onsite evaluation. Having analyzed syllabus only, the research is lacking in actual comparison of real courses in field, ending up with proposing a standard curriculum. Arena for future research would be an in-depth interview, discussion with experts and validity test with experimental teaching.

본 연구는 전국 교육대학교와 제주대학교의 실과 가족 및 가정관리 영역 심화과정의 운영 실태를 파악하여 강의표준안을 제안함으로써, 예비교사들의 가족 및 가정관리 영역의 교육역량을 기르는데 목적을 두고 시행하였다. 연구방법은 전자메일과 전화통화를 통하여 강의계획서를 수집하여 분석하였으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족 및 가정관리 영역 강좌의 교육과정 편제는 2학점, 3시간 비중이 높았고, 강좌의 70%가 4학년, 필수교과였다. 강좌는 가족학, 가정관리학, 주거학과 관련이 있다. 둘째, 강좌의 목표는 가족관계와 관련된 지식과 개념의 이해를 주요 목표로 하고 있으며, 그 밖에 자원관리내용과 학교교육 적용을 위한 전문성 함양을 목표로 하고 있다. 셋째, 강좌의 내용은 가족의 이해, 가족의 형성 내용이 가장 많았고, 가족생활교육과 관련된 내용, 시간 및 금전자원 관리, 의사소통과 의사결정, 이와 관련된 교수학습지도안 구성과 교재연구 및 개발 등의 내용을 포함하고 있다. 넷째, 교수·학습방법은 주로 강의형태이며, 발표, 토론, 견학 등의 형태로 적용되고 있다. 평가는 지필평가를 가장 중요시하였으며, 발표, 과제물, 수시평가 등이 있다. 다섯째, 가족 및 가정관리 영역 강좌의 강의 표준안을 제안하면, 강좌의 목표는 국가교육과정을 기초로 가족 및 가족생활과 관련된 생활환경, 자원관리에 대한 지식을 익히며, 초등교육현장에 적용하는 방안을 모색하는데 두었다. 강좌의 내용은 가족에 대한 이해와 가족 형성, 가족의 다양성, 가족학 관련 이론, 의사소통과 의사결정, 가족생활교육 프로그램의 개발, 시간 및 경제자원관리. 관련 영역의 교육과정 분석과 교재연구 및 개발, 교수학습지도안 구성 등을 제안하였다. 평가방식은 지필, 발표평가이외에 전문성 심화 및 생애설계에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는 수행평가가 있어야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 강의계획서만으로 강좌를 분석하였으므로, 실제 학교 현장에서 이루어지는 강좌에 대한 충분한 비교가 부족하였고, 강의 표준안도 제안의 단계로 끝났다. 이에 후속연구로 강좌에 대한 심층면담과 강의 표준안에 대한 전문가의 검증 및 시범수업을 통해 타당도를 검증하기를 제안한다.
