Pastoral counseling is facing with identity problems which continued from emerging so far. Although the identity of pastoral counseling has been confirmed since the 1990s, But because of the lack of theological methodology, pastoral counseling is still experiencing a identity confusion. This situation requires a theological way to meet two elements of identity, the sameness and the continuedness. The purpose of this article is to propose the process of redemptive counseling as such a methodology. Redemptive counseling is to connect 'redemptive theological pastoral counseling model' based on the redemptive theology and the hermeneutics of Ricoeur apply the theological/biblical hermeneutics. Since the model is based on the clinical, it is practical. In addition, because this model is based on universal redemptive theology, Christians will be able to learn more easily. This paper first explores for redemptive theological pastoral counseling model is the premise of the process of redemptive counseling. Next, it introduces three forms of hermeneutics that Ricoeur has noted, the archaeological, teleological, and eschatological hermeneutics. Finally, it presents a process of redemptive counseling based on the redemptive theological pastoral counseling model and the hermeneutics of Ricoeur focusing on the clinical case.

목회상담은 태동부터 지금까지 계속되는 정체성 문제에 직면하고 있다. 목회상담의 정체성은 1990년대 확인되었다. 그러나 신학적 방법론의 부재로 목회상담은 여전히 정체성의 혼란을 경험하고 있다. 이러한 상황은 정체성의 두 가지 요소인 동일성과 계속성을 충족하는 신학적 방법론을 요구한다. 이 논문의 목적은 바로 그러한 방법론으로서 리뎀티브 상담의 과정을 제안하는 것이다. 리뎀티브 상담은 구속신학에 근거한 구속신학적 목회상담모델과 신학적/성서적 해석학을 전개하고 있는 리쾨르의 해석학을 접목한 것이다. 이 모델은 임상에 기초하고 있기 때문에 실제적이다. 게다가 이 모델은 보편적인 구속신학에 근거하고 있기 때문에 기독교인이라면 누구나 쉽게 배울 수 있다. 이 논문은 먼저 리뎀티브 상담의 과정의 전제인 구속신학적 목회상담모델을 탐색한다. 이어서 이 논문은 리쾨르가 언급하고 있는 해석학의 세 가지 형태, 즉 고고학적 해석학, 목적론적 해석학 그리고 종말론적 해석학을 소개한다. 마지막으로 이 논문은 구속신학적 목회상담모델과 리쾨르 해석학에 근거한 리뎀티브 상담의 과정을 사례를 중심으로 제시한다.
