The motif of sexual insult for virgin are repeated in the literature of Dazai. It is written that his first lover, pure girl was insulted by an adult and she has disappeared in front of him in his literature. We can see that Dazai has searched for pureness and virgin to recover from his passed sudden memory in his life. He was married to Hatuyo who was the beginner of geisha and he believed that he had helped her out of the insults of men as virgin but he has hurted to know that she was not virgin. In this way we can see that Dazai’s spiritual complication was caused by the shock of dirt of virgin. But in this study we found another more deep reason. Namely in his childhood Dazai experienced the sexual bad play by adults who were serving in his house but too much early awakening for sex made him spiritually trouble. After the sexual ill-treatment he came to struggle for love searching for pureness.

初代は太宰にとって初戀の少女トキの投射であり、喪失したトキへの戀を取り戻すための希望の女性であった。しかし、初代は太宰にトキの性的蹂躪の記憶を反復して思い出させることとなり、それは太宰の心の傷をより大きなものにし、太宰の心情を再び蹂躪する結果となった。彼は汚れたものを憎み、處女の無垢と純眞を求めたが、いつもそこには純潔を蹂躪するものが姿を現わす。彼の心の傷は愛する女性の純潔が汚されたことによるように見えるのであるが、實はその傷は自らの純潔の蹂躪に対する傷つきとして彼の心の深層に存在していたことがわかる。太宰において性の蹂躪は太宰が少年期に下人たちが幼い主人にいたずらをしたことで始まり、このことが太宰の愛に対する葛藤を生んでいる。彼が汚される運命にあるものに純潔を求め、それを慕い、かつ苦しむという矛盾を繰り返すのは彼自身の汚れに対する悶えとそれからの脫出のためであったと言うことができる。
