The purpose of this study is an investigation into the actual condition of weekly educational plan management in early childhood education center so that this investigation proposes a basic data for the early childhood integrated curriculum.
Subjects were 90 weekly educational plans of early childhood center. The result of this study is as follows.
The first, structural form of weekly educational plan was diverse, and child care center showed types divided by interesting but kindergarten posted types divided by the groups. The second, the component of weekly educational plan showed that snack plane, lunch plane, afternoon activity program leave on record less than subject, object, period. An average frequency of life area activities was 25 activities a week and special activity executive ratio is 68% of total of early childhood center a week. The third, the social life area and the health life area leave on record less than the language life area and the expression life area. The forth, 21% of total activities is irrelevance activities with theme. The fifth, extracurricular activities make a plan diversely 4 times a week per early childhood education center.

본 연구는 유아교육기관에서 작성한 주간교육계획안의 운영 실태를 파악하여 통합적 유아교육과정의 발달을 도모하는 기초자료를 제시하고자 90개 유아교육기관의 주간교육계획안을 조사하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 주간교육계획안의 구성 형태는 다양하게 나타났지만 유치원은 그룹유형별 구성 형태가, 어린이집은 흥미영역별 구성형태가 더 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교육기관의 주간교육계획안 구성내용은 유치원과 어린이집 모두 주제, 목표, 기간의 기록에 비해 간식, 중식, 오후 프로그램 등은 저조한 기록을 나타내고 있었다. 생활영역별 활동 빈도는 1주 평균 25회이며 특별활동은 1주 수업중 전체의 68%를 실시하고 있었다. 셋째, 생활영역별 활동 중에서 주로 언어생활영역이나 표현생활영역의 활동이 대부분인 반면, 사회생활영역이나 건강생활영역의 활동은 상대적으로 적게 실시하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 생활영역별 활동 중 주제와 연계성이 없는 활동은 전체 활동의 21%였다. 다섯째, 특별활동은 한 기관 당 1주 평균 4회 정도를 계획하고 있었으며 그 내용은 조기성취 및 특기교육을 주로 다루고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
