Purpose: The purposes of this study were to examine the differences in need, necessity, performance, barriers, and effectiveness of workers' health promotion program and to determine the influencing factors in effectiveness of workers' health promotion program by business types. Methods: Subjects were participants of an education held by Korean association of occupational health nurses and a survey was self-reported. Survey items were developed by researchers through literature review. It included general characteristics of occupational health providers and worksites, need, necessity, performance, barriers and effectiveness of workers' health promotion (WHP) program. The total number of worksites was 168, manufacturing/construction was 76 (45.2%), other services were 52 (31.0%), and healthcare services were 40 (23.8%). We used χ²test, ANOVA test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Results: There were differences in need, necessity and performance of WHP by business types. In healthcare services, WHP had statistically significant effectiveness to reduce turnover rates. And the influencing factors of WHP’s effectiveness were workers’ need in manufacturing/construction, health provider’s career in other services, and perceived necessity in healthcare services. Conclusion: Based on this result, we propose differentiated strategies depending on the business types for effective workers’ health promotion program.

Purpose: 본 연구는 근로자 건강증진프로그램의 요구도, 필요도, 수행도, 장애도, 운영효과를 업종별로 비교하고 근로자 건강증진프로그램 운영효과에 영향 미치는 요인을 업종별로 비교하는 것을 목적으로 한다. Methods: 한국산업간호협회 보수교육에 참여한 보건관리자를 대상으로, 응답자 자기기입방식으로 설문조사를 시행하였다. 설문지는 기존문헌고찰을 통해 연구진에 의해 개발되었는데, 세부적으로는 보건관리자의 일반적 특성, 사업자의 특성, 근로자 건강증진 프로그램에 대한 근로자 요구도, 보건관리자가 인지한 필요도, 실제 수행도, 장애도 및 운영효과로 구성되었다. 최종적 연구대상 사업장은 총 168개소로, 제조건설업 76개소(45.2%), 서비스업 52개소(31.0%), 보건업 40개소(23.8%)이었다. 분석방법으로는 χ²test, ANOVA test, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis 등이 활용되었다. Results: 근로자 건강증진 프로그램의 요구도, 필요도, 수행도는 업종별로 차이가 있었다. 근로자 건강증진 프로그램 운영효과로서 이직율 감소에 있어서 보건업에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 점수를 나타내었다. 마지막으로 근로자 건강증진 프로그램 운영효과에 영향 미치는 요인으로, 제조․건설업은 근로자의 요구도, 서비스업은 보건관리자의 근무경력, 보건업은 보건관리자가 인지한 필요도인 것으로 나타났다. Conclusion: 본 연구결과에 근거하여, 효과적인 근로자 건강증진 프로그램 운영을 위하여 사업장 업종별로 차별적 전략을 사용할 것을 제안하였다.
