This study, in order to tourism cooperation between the country and the country, and to understand whether the potential tourists to the country of each other have any such images, based on the viewpoint that there is a corresponding need it has been expanded. Japanese young people put a questionnaire survey into effect about an image to Korea which is being held and analyzed from the various angles. It became clear as a result of the positive analysis that the person who has a visit experience to Korea is a good image overall compared with the group which isn’t so and is affirmative. It can be said that the Korean side has to develop aggressive PR activity and invitation strategy by the various shapes to Japanese young people. In recent years that tourism is mentioned as one of the pillars of the country’s growth strategy, Korea and Japan are close to the geographical and cultural, since it is the largest market for each other even in the tourism market, until now Tourism Cooperation is allowed to expand, it is necessary to aim to maximize the impact and effects of tourist.

本研究は、国と国との間で観光交流をするにあたって、お互いの国に対して潜在観光客がどのようなイメージを持っているのかを把握し、それに対応する必要があるとの観点に基づいて展開した。具体的には、日本人若者が抱いている韓国に対するイメージについてアンケート調査を実施し、様々な角度から分析を行った。 実証分析の結果、韓国への訪問経験がある方がそうでないグループに比べ、全体的に良いイメージを持っているし、肯定的であるとのことから韓国側は日本の若者に対して積極的なPR活動を行うと同時に様々な形による誘致戦略を展開する必要があるといえる。 国の成長戦略の一つの柱として観光が挙げられている昨今において、韓国と日本は地理的・文化的にも近いし、観光マーケットにおいてもお互いにとって最も大きいマーケットであることから、今までより観光交流を拡大させ、観光による影響や効果を最大に狙う必要がある。
