Recently, there has been a trend that universities in Korea puts higher interests on character education and puts more emphasis on developing and investing on educational program. Most of them seem to present the need and direction of character education, however, yet practical ways to improve character education are lacking. Still, literature on general character education and virtues is gotten easy access to find, yet that on character education and virtues specifically on Christianity is hardly found. This study, therefore , researched on what the Christianity is in the Bible and chosen virtues of Christian character, and this led to the study on linkage between Christian chapel in the University of Christianity and Character of Christianity. This study distributed questionnaires to 600 (494 collected) undergraduate students of Baekseok University, and then went on to present what the linkage between Christianity chapel and Christian character is, what factor is influencing on Christian character, what other factors are, Whether the contentment and involvement are having impact on Christian character, and what the linkage between Christian character and the percentage of evangelization is.

최근 대학에서도 인성교육에 관심도 높아지고 있으며 인성교육을 위한 프로그램 개발 및 인성함양에 위한 교육에 집중하는데 노력하고 투자하는 추세이다. 하지만 인성교육의 필요성과 방향을 제시하고 있으나 실제적인 인성함양을 위한 방안은 부족한 편이다. 그래도 일반적인 인성교육 및 일반적인 인성덕목에 관한 선행연구는 찾을 수 있었으나 기독교인성교육 및 기독교 인성덕목 및 추출에 관한 선행연구는 거의 찾을 수가 없었다. 그래서 본 연구는 성경에 기초한 기독교인성이 무엇이고, 기독교 인성의 덕목의 선정과 추출에 대해서 먼저 연구하였고, 이를 토대로 기독교대학의 채플과 기독교인성과의 연관성에 대해서 연구하였다. 본 연구는 그를 위해 백석대학교 재학생 중에서 채플을 수강하는 600명(회수 494부)의 학생들에게 설문지를 배부하였고, 이를 분석하여 기독교대학의 채플과 기독교인성과의 연관성은 무엇인지, 기독교인성 함양에 미치는 요인이 무엇인지, 기타 요인들은 무엇인지, 채플의 만족도와 참여도가 기독교인성에 미치는 영향이 무엇인지, 기독교인성과 복음화율과의 연관성을 제시하였다.
