This study set out to check acceptance intentions for KOCW in the major and liberal arts areas through IMTBPT (Integrated Model of Technology-Based Behavior Prediction Theory), an integrated model of Uses and Gratification Theory (U&G), Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). It also aimed to propose strategies for e-learning content organization to facilitate the acceptance of KOCW in the short term and offer assistance to the spread of knowledge sharing culture in the long term. The essential findings were as follows: First, college students’ motivations for taking e-learning courses were divided into four categories of “ease of learning process”, “autonomy of learning”, “excellence of learning content,” and “comparative advantage over offline courses.” Second, the determinants of KOCW acceptance intention in the major areas include comparative advantage over offline courses and learning autonomy (-) amongst motivations for taking e-learning courses, ease and usefulness of TAM variables, and attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control of TPB variables. Third, the determinants of KOCW acceptance intention in the liberal arts areas include comparative advantage over offline courses, learning autonomy (-), ex-cellence of learning content, and ease of learning process (-) amongst motivations for taking e-learning courses, ease and usefulness of TAM variables, and attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control of TPB variables. Finally, IMTBPT had higher explanatory power for KOCW than a single theory or an integrated model of two theories.

본 연구는 이용과 충족 이론, 계획행동이론, 기술수용모델의 융합모델인, IMTBPT를 통 해 전공과 교양 영역의 KOCW에 대한 수용의도를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 단기적으 로 KOCW 수용 촉진을 위한 이러닝 콘텐츠 구성 전략을 제안하고, 장기적으로 지식 나눔 문 화 확산에 도움을 제공하고자 하였다. 이 연구의 핵심적 발견은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생들의 이러닝 수강동기는 ‘학습과정의 용이성’, ‘학습의 자율성’, ‘학습내용 우 수성’, ‘오프라인 강의 비교 우위성’ 등 4개 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전공 영역 KOCW 수 용의도 결정요인은 이러닝 수강동기 중 오프라인 비교 우위성, 학습의 자율성(-) 동기, 기술 수용모델 변인 중 용이성, 유용성, 계획행동이론 변인 중 태도, 주관적 규범, 인지된 행위통제 였다. 셋째, 교양 영역 KOCW 수용의도 결정요인은 이러닝 수강동기 중 오프라인 비교 우위 성, 학습의 자율성(-), 학습내용 우수성, 학습과정의 용이성(-), 기술수용모델 변인 중 용이 성, 유용성, 계획행동이론 변인 중 태도, 주관적 규범, 인지된 행위통제였다. 넷째, IMTBPT 는 단일 이론 또는 2개 이론의 융합모델에 비해 KOCW에 대한 높은 설명력을 이끌어 내는 것으로 나타났다.
