The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among satisfaction on school sports club competition, satisfaction on school sports club and intention to continue exercise. To achieve the purpose, 407 elementary students participating in school sports clubs were collected by using convenience sampling method. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 program. Results of this study are as follows. First, regarding the demographic differences among satisfaction on school sports club competition, satisfaction on school sports club and intention to continue exercise there was only a significant difference about indirect intention to continue exercise; the boy students had higher indirect intention to continue exercise than the girl students. And there was no significant difference about regarding the number of competition participation. Second, satisfaction on school sports club competition had a direct effect on satisfaction on school sports club. And satisfaction on school sports club had a high direct effect on intention to continue exercise. It was also revealed that the indirect effect of satisfaction on school sports club competition through satisfaction on school sports club was bigger than its direct effect on intention to continue exercise.

본 연구는 학교스포츠클럽대회 만족도와 학교스포츠클럽 만족도 및 운동지속의사의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 학교스포츠클럽에 소속되어 대회에 참가한 경험이 있는 초등학생들을 대상으로 검증을 실시하였다. 연구대상은2014년 K도 소재 초등학교 고학년(5·6학년) 남·녀 학생으로, 500명을 임의 표집하여 407명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. SPSS 18.0 과 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 상관관계분석, 확인적요인분석, t-test, ANOVA 및 구조방정식모형(SEM) 검증을 통해 연구문제를 검증하였다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 학교스포츠클럽대회 만족, 학교스포츠클럽 만족, 지속의사의 차이에서는 간접운동지속의사에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 참가횟수는 모든변인에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 측정모형 검증결과 학교스포츠클럽 만족도와 학교스포츠클럽대회 만족도 그리고 운동지속의사간의 연구 모형은 모든 적합도 지수들 기준치를 충족시키는 것으로 나타나적합한 모형임이 검증되었다. 셋째, 학교스포클럽대회 만족은 학교스포츠클럽 만족에 중간정도의 영향을 미치는것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 학교스포츠클럽 만족은 운동지속의사에 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 학교스포츠클럽대회 만족은 운동지속의사에 낮은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 학교스포츠클럽을 매개로한 간접효과는 중간정도의 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
