The purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristic and historical status of Joseon Yang-ming studies in order to look back on the understanding of Yang-ming studies of the Joseon Bureaucrat-Intellectual and how it took its role and function in the political and academic history of Joseon dynasty. Here, as one of the standpoints, it looks into the Bureaucrat-Intellectual’s Viewpoint of Yang-ming Studies from the process of how Yang-ming studies was sent and accepted to Joseon scholars. First, it presented various evidences that assumes the process of passing down 『Chuanxilu(傳習錄)』. Furthermore, by analyzing the contents of the poem that was exchanged by Kim Se Pil(金世弼) and Park sang(朴祥), it showed that both of them were critical to Yang-ming studies. Also, it clarified the status of acceptance of the disciples of Hwadam(花潭) Se Kyung Duk(徐敬德) and King Seonjo(宣祖) that positively accepted Yang-ming studies. Hwadam School admitted the point of Mind study(心學) of Yang-ming studies. And King Seonjo is said to have highly evaluated the personality of Yang ming and the performance of exploit.

본 연구는 조선 시대 관료 지식인의 양명학에 대한 이해를 비판적으로 성찰하고, 양명학이 조선의 정치와 사상사에서 어떤 역할과 기능을 담당해 왔는가를 살펴봄으로써 조선양명학의 특성과 그 사상사적 지위를 규명하려는 데 궁극적인 목적이 있다. 여기에서는 그 작업의 일환으로서 양명학이 조선에 전래되고 수용되는 과정에 나타난 관료 지식인들의 양명학관을 살펴보았다. 먼저 『전습록』의 전래 과정을 추정할 수 있는 여러 가지 정황 증거들을 제시하였다. 이어서 김세필과 박상이 주고받은 시(詩)의 내용을 분석하여 두 사람 모두 양명학에 대해 비판적이었음을 밝혔다. 그리고 양명학을 긍정적으로 평가한 화담 서경덕의 문인들과 선조(宣祖)의 양명학 수용 양태를 규명하였다. 화담학파는 양명학의 심학적 공부의 측면을 수용하였으며, 선조는 양명의 인물됨과 사공의 업적을 높이 평가하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
