The purpose of this study is to examine improvement of ego-identity of the subjects and relevance of Korean Enneagram based group counselling program after Korean Enneagram based group counselling program is given to twenty boy convicts who are imprisoned in juvenile reformatory. As shown in the aforementioned findings, with regard to the formation of program, dynamic educational program that combines theory and activity by considering the fact that delinquent boys tend to lack concentration is effective in improving ego-identity of boy convicts. With regard to performance of program, whether good relationships can be formed based on interest in, confidence in, support for and leadership toward the subjects has a effect on the program. This study revealed that reliability of extroversion and formation of career, leadership and determination, positive attitude toward work, ego-identity and view of the world, and formation of interpersonal relation which are five sub-factors of ego-identity is Conbach α= .91 or higher respectively. In particular, significant probability of 'self-identity and view of the world' showed .23 which suggests that group counselling has the greatest effect and therefore Korean Enneagram counselling is suitable for young people imprisoned in correctional institution.

본 연구는 교정시설의 하나인 소년교도소의 수형자 20명을 대상으로 한국형에니어그램 집단상 담 프로그램을 실시한 후 프로그램 진행과정의 적절성과 집단원의 자아정체감의 향상 변화를 살 펴보고자 하였다. 성격유형의 특성이 보여주는 바와 같이 과정분석결과 프로그램 구성면에서 비행소년의 심리특 성중 하나인 집중력이 부족하다는 점을 감안하여 이론과 활동을 접목시킨 움직임이 많은 역동적 인 교육프로그램이 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 프로그램 진행의 경우 집단원이 비자발적이고 교 정시설 내 구성원의 특징인 특별한 역동을 극복해 나갈 수 있는 자신감과 강력한 리더십, 참여자 에 대한 변함없는 관심과 지지를 통해 빠른 시간 내 관계형성 여부가 프로그램 효과에 영향을 미 치는 것으로 나타났다. 자아정체감의 사전과 사후검사에 의한 효과성 분석결과 자아정체감의 5가지 하위요인인 외향 성 및 진로형성, 리더십 및 결단성, 일에 대한 적극성, 자기 정체성 및 세계관, 대인관계 형성에 대하여 각 요인별 신뢰도를 분석한 결과 Conbach α= .91 이상으로 모두 높게 나타났다. 특히, ‘자아정체성 및 세계관’에서 유의확률이 .23으로 나타나고 있어서 본 집단상담의 효과가 가장 큰 것으로 나타나기 때문에 교정시설 청소년에게 본 한국형에니어그램 상담이 적합하다고 판단된다.
