The economic and trade relationship of China and North Korea has transformed from safety-oriented to market-oriented transformation from the new century. Subsequently, the trade volume, commodities structure, the trade balance, trade pattern and many other aspects of bilateral economic and trade relationship have changed. The reasons of these changes come from many factors. But the most important reason is the expansion of the Chinese enterprises’ investment towards North Korea. Nevertheless, due to North Korea's the lower ability of paying current, the backward infrastructure and the rigid foreign trade management system, China-North Korea economic and trade cooperation is facing a huge difficulties. The quickly recover of North Korean economy and the strategy of constructing free trade zones of China and Korea is the key of further expanding and deepening pragmatic cooperation in economy and trade between China and Korea.

새로운 세기를 맞이하면서, 중국과 북한의 경제무역관계는 안전지향 형을 지나 시장지향형으로 전환하였습니다. 그 후, 무역규모, 구조, 수지, 형태 등 여러 측면에서 양국경제무역관계는 변화하였습니다. 이러한 변 화의 원인은 여러 가지가 있습니다. 그 중 가장 중요한 원인은 북한에 대한 중국기업의 투자의 확장입니다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 현재 북한의 낮은 지불 능력, 인프라 낙후, 대외무역 관리체제의 정체 등의 원인으로 중국․북한 경제무역 협력은 큰 어려움에 직면 해 있습니다. 북한경제 의 신속한 회복 및 중국․북한자유무역지구 건설의 전략은 중국과 북한 의 실속적인 경제무역 협력을 확대하고 심화할 수 있는 중요한 열쇠입니다.

以新世纪为契机，中朝经贸关系已由安全导向型向市场导向型转变。随后，两国经贸关系在贸易规模、贸易结构、贸易收支、贸易形态等诸多方面发生了一系列变化。这些变化的原因是多方面的，但，最重要的是中国企业对朝投资的扩大。尽管如此，由于目前朝鲜的支付能力低下、基础设施落后、外贸管理体制僵化等原因，中朝经贸合作面临着巨大困境。朝鲜经济的早日恢复以及建设中朝自由贸易区战略是进一步扩大和深化中朝务实经贸合作的关键。
