This study aims to verify the mediating effect of positive illusions in the relationship between Christian university students’ intrinsic religious orientation and their career preparation behavior. 172 Christian university students were sampled, and their intrinsic religious orientation, their positive illusion, and their career preparation behavior were measured. Use SPSS WIN 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. As a result, Christian university students’ intrinsic religious orientation and their positive illusions, and their positive illusions and their career preparation behavior had a positive correlation, but their intrinsic religious orientation and their career preparation behavior had no correlation. Second, the positive illusion mediating structural model in the relationship between Christian university students’ intrinsic religious orientation and their career preparation behavior was fit for the data, and all paths except the path from their intrinsic religious orientation to their career preparation behavior were statistically significant. Third, the positive illusion’s mediating effect in the relationship between the intrinsic religious orientation and the career preparation behavior was found to be a complete mediator. This suggests that Christian university students’ career behavior promoted their career preparation behavior through their positive illusions rather than directly influenced their intrinsic religious orientation; thus, the role that Christian university students’ positive illusions played in promoting their career preparation behavior, and its implications in counseling were discussed. Lastly, this research’s significance and limitations, and follow-up research direction were discussed.

본 연구의 목적은 기독대학생의 내재적 종교성향과 진로준비행동과의 관계 에서 긍정적 환상의 매개효과를 검증하는데 있다. 연구대상은 기독대학생 172 명이었으며, 내재적 종교성향척도, 긍정적 환상 척도, 진로준비행동 척도를 실 시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS WIN 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 사용하였다. 그 결과, 기독대학생의 내재적 종교성향과 긍정적 환상, 긍정적 환상과 진로준비행동은 서로 정적 상관을 보였고, 내재적 종교성향과 진로준비행동은 상관이 없는 것으 로 나타났다. 둘째, 기독대학생의 내재적 종교성향과 진로준비행동의 관계에서 긍정적 환상이 매개하는 구조모형은 자료에 적합한 것으로 나타났고, 내재적 종 교성향에서 진로준비행동으로 가는 경로를 제외하고 모든 경로가 통계적으로 유의하였다. 셋째, 내재적 종교성향과 진로준비행동과의 관계에서 긍정적 환상 의 매개효과는 완전매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 기독대학생의 진 로준비행동은 내재적 종교성향이 직접적인 영향을 주기보다 긍정적 환상을 통 해 진로준비행동을 높이는 것으로 나타나 기독대학생의 진로준비행동을 증진 시키기 위한 긍정적 환상의 역할과 상담에서의 함의점을 논의하였다. 끝으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점, 그리고 후속연구에 대한 방향에 대해 논의하였다.
