The statistics from year 2013 to year 2015 have shown dengue mortality rate in Malaysia has increased as much as four time. The most common approach by the government is to control dengue mosquito rate by eliminating the breading ground. Still more effects needs to be done on the ground to control the epidemic. In this study, we analyze Malaysia government data sets on dengue and meteorological data with big data framework which reveals the correlation and the in adequacy with current data sets leads us to design and propose an awareness system which overcome and update the public and communities with accurate dengue hotspot, mortality and supports public / community interactions.
