Ventilation of an airtight room in HANARO research reactor is very important for facility reliability and worker safety. But, sometime, inlet and outlet ports of ventilation systems should be built in limited regions to maintain reactor building robustness and radiation protection. In a present work, numerical simulations are conducted to investigate flow features in an airtight room when inlet and outlet ventilation ports are installed in various top regions. Based on the numerical results, arrangement of inlet and outlet ports in a small space is suggested.
