This thesis introduces the forms of various sino-Korean word which was contained in Koryeo-sa(『the history of Koryeo』). And it is noteworthy that there are two types of sino-Korean word in Koryeo-sa(『the history of Koryeo』)：one is the sino-Korean word which was influxed in the early time of Koryeo Dynasty and the other one is Mongolian after Yuan Dynasty and the sino-Korean word in Yuan Dynasty introduced by northern Chinese language. In Goryeo Dynasty, there were two types of sino-Korean word which included sino-Korean word in semantic loanword and sino-Korean word in phonetic loanword. The sino-Korean word in semantic loanword was divided into sino-Korean word on Koryeo, sino-Korean word on China and Indian Chinese (Buddhism Chinese). While sino-Korean word of phonetic-loanword was divided into phonetic-loanword in proper word, phonetic-loanword in Mongolian , phonetic-loanword in Jurchen, phonetic-loanword in Sanskrit, sino-Korean word on Koryeo contained sino-korean word appeared in Goryeo Dynasty and sino-Korean word in semantic reading loanword. While sino-Korean word on China included sino-korean word appeared in Han, Tang, Song, Liao, Jin and Yuan Dynasties. This study will concentrate on the sino-Korean word on Korea and sino-Korean word on China used in Koryeo-sa(『the history of Koryeo』).

『高麗史』 속에 포함된 한자어의 다양한 양상을 살펴보았다. 그 중요한 양상은 『高麗史』의 한자어가 크게 고려시대 전기의 다양한 경로로 유입되던 시기의 한자어와 원나라 이후 몽골어 및 원대 漢兒言語에 의해 유입된 한자어로 크게 구별된다는 점이다. 고려시대의 한자어는 크게 훈차 한자어와 음차 한자어로 유형화되는데, 훈차 한자어에는 다시 고려계 한자어(=한국한자어), 중국계 한자어, 인도/범어계 한자어(불교 용어)로 나뉘며 음차 한자어 역시 고유어계 음차어, 몽골어계 음차어, 여진어계 음차어, 범어계 음차어 등으로 나뉜다. 이 가운데에서 고려계 한자어에는 고려에서 조어된 한자어와 당시 고려어를 훈독한 훈독 한자어가 포함되며 중국계 한자어에는 漢代, 唐代, 宋代, 遼代(거란), 金代(여진), 元代 한자어 등 다양한 시대의 한자어들이 포함되었거나 포함되는 양상을 보이고 있다. 본고에서는 이 가운데 특히 한자어의 주류를 이루는 한국 한자어와 중국계 한자어의 제 양상을 『高麗史』를 중심으로 살펴본 것이다.
