Ozaki Koyo have made plans to carry out various new attempts in order to make a new language style. At first he put to use a specific compromise style between elegance and common, that means a blending with elegance in literary composition and common in composition written in the colloquial. After that he attempted to write spoken and written nobel from ｢Ninninnyobo｣ to the year of Meiji 28. All of his works in that time was not the unification style with written and spoken language but left a few compromise style between elegance and common in the beginning. Aiming at this point, according to investigate his remaining speech and later years works named ｢Konzikiyasya｣, it was found to be as follows; 1. Items conformed on the remaining speech: He recognized the possibilities of written language style in order to higher the world of art. 2. Items conformed on ｢Konzikiyasya｣: Because of using written language style on physical features and spoken language style on colloquial literature, it was not pure written and spoken language style.
