Released prisoner are living in isolated prison for a long time. And so it returned to the community often able to overcome the difficulties to find the process of rehabilitation. There are many sides to bring this situation to rise in recidivism rates. Therefore, it Released prisoner to integrate them back into society is also necessary for the peace and order of society. However, the prisoners have been released from prison custody from the time the calibration facility that is integrated in the process of social reintegration back into the community in Korea has also conducted various programs. But many are still lacking part. Therefore, by reviewing the support programs developed in Canada and the United Kingdom in the prevention of recidivism to promote the improvement of our institutions and programs, find the meaning of the thesis. While the research is to prevent recidivism studies on Korea's released prisoner it could be found to be very low. And there were also errors in the published information. In this paper, we wish to introduce entitled to receive a variety of information for the prevention of recidivism released prisoner Canada and the United Kingdom.

출소자들은 장기간의 교도소생활을 하다가 지역사회로 귀환함에 따라 사회복귀과정에서 발생하는 이질감을 극복하지 못하게 되는 경우가 많고, 이는 또한 재범률을 상승시키는 측면이 있다. 출소자들을 사회에 재통합시키는 것이야말로 사회공공의 안녕질서를 위해서 필수불가결한 일이며, 수형자가 교정시설에 구금된 때로부터 출소하여 사회에 재통합되는 사회복귀의 과정 속에서 우리나라 역시 다양한 프로그램을 실시하고 있다. 그러나 아직은 미흡한 부분이 많다고 생각되어 재범방지 분야의 선진국인 캐나다 등의 각종 지원프로그램을 검토, 우리의 제도 및 프로그램의 개선을 도모하고자 한다. 본 연구를 하면서 출소자 재범방지에 관한 기존의 연구노력은 인정되나 더욱 적극적인 연구가 요구됨을 알 수 있었기에, 본 논문은 캐나다 등의 출소자 재범방지를 위한 다양한 내용을 상세하게 소개하고자 하였다.
