The purpose of this study was to investigate a relationship between perception and attitude of child care teachers about environmental section of education for sustainable development (ESD) and establish a basis of developing education program on the child care filed. The subjects of this study were 311 child care teachers collected by proportional sampling from child care centers located in I city. And this study utilized data collected through their e-mail responses. According to the research problems, the collected data is for investigating the relationship between perception and attitude in an environmental section of ESD. To search the frequency, percentage, and the correlation, this study used SPSS/ PC(win 19.0) program and Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient. The results of this study indicate that there were positive correlations between perception and attitude in an environmental section of ESD. Teachers who had high scores in perception about an environmental section of ESD also had high scores in attitude about the same issue. To conclude, it will be necessary to improve child care teacher’s practical attitude to an environmental section of ESD by using teacher education program especially for those who have short term career because teacher’s status and career is proportional to teacher’s perception and attitude to an environmental section of ESD.

이 연구는 보육교사의 지속가능발전 교육의 환경영역에 대한 인식과 태도 관계를 알아보고 이를 토대로 보육현장에서 교육프로그램 개발에 기초를 얻기 위해 실시하였다. 연구대상은 I시의 소재한 어린이집을 비율 표집하여 전자 우편을 보내어 근무하고 있는 보육교사를 대상으로 회신을 한 311명을 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 연구문제에 따라 지속가능발전교육의 환경영역의 인식, 태도 간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 SPSS/ PC(win 19.0) 프로그램을 사용하였고 빈도와 백분율, 그리고 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson의 적률상관계수를 산출하였다. 연구결과 보육교사의 지속가능발전교육의 환경영역의 인식과 태도 간 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 지속가능발전교육의 환경영역의 인식 수준의 점수가 높은 교사는 지속가능발전교육의 환경영역의 태도에서 높은 점수가 나왔다. 즉 교사의 직위와 경력이 높을수록 인식과 태도는 정적상관이 있으므로 저 경력 교사의 지속가능발전교육에 대한 환경역역의 인식에 관한 교사교육프로그램을 통하여 실천적 태도가 향상할 수 있도록 하여야 할 것이다.
