This thesis intended to secure the necessity for ‘community-oriented writing’ and introduce concrete methodologies pursuant to this. Also, it tried to verify the educational effects possibly reapable when this methodology is applied to actual lectures through various analysis methods. Lecturing model is made of stage 1: get familiar with other, stage 2: forming a community, stage 3: living as you-I. Each stage is then subdivided into detailed models so that learners can feel closer to ‘other and community’ in which they will actively participate and texts and audiovisual materials fit for them were presented to raise their participation in and satisfaction with classes. Detailed model of ‘community-oriented writing’ is made of stage 1: writing of ‘touching’ and ‘exposing’, stage 2: writing of ‘mingling’ and ‘creating’, stage 3: writing of ‘uttering’ ad ‘transforming’. Through these stages, it’s confirmed that learners’ awareness of ‘other and community’ change in positive direction and the educational goal of this study that we pursue a closed community after one same goal but an open community after listening to/accepting even noises of others in the process of listening-writing. The educational effects of ‘community-oriented writing are 1) change in awareness of other and communities (deepening social sensitivity), 2) experience of ‘writing communities’ beyond goal-driven group activities, 3) growth in sympathizing ability through listening-writing model(humanistic education), 4) improving writing ability, 5) change in awareness of writing education and an increase in satisfaction with classes.

본고는 ‘공동체 지향 글쓰기’의 교육방법론을 개관하고, 이에 입각해 세부 강의모형을 개발하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이 모형을 1년간 대학 글쓰기 강의에 적용해 거둔 실제적이며 잠재적인 교육효과를 분석하고, 공동체 지향 글쓰기의 교육 방법론을 심화하는 하나의 계기로 삼고자 한다. 공동체 지향 글쓰기의 교육방법론은 3단계로 구성된다. 3단계 모형은 전체적 인 교육목표와 글쓰기의 방법론의 측면에서 두 가지 이름으로 명명된다. 첫째는, 인성과 공동체의식의 교육목표를 압축한 명명인 <1단계; 타자와 함께하기, 2단계; 공동체 만들기, 3단계; 너-나로 살아가기>이다. 둘째는, 글쓰기의 성격과 방법론에 입각한 명명인 <1단계; ‘만짐’과 ‘노출’의 글쓰기, 2단계; ‘(어)울림’과 ‘창조’의 글쓰기, 3단계; ‘발언’과 ‘변화’의 글쓰기>이다. 각 단계는 다시 다양한 텍스트 활용과 글쓰기 방식에 따른 세부 모형으로 구체화된다. 세부 모형에서는 학습자가 ‘타자’와 ‘공동체’에 대한 인식을 높이고 적극적인 실천 역량을 갖출 수 있도록 다양한 문학·예술·문화 텍스트를 제시하고, ‘1인 글쓰기’와 ‘공동 글쓰기’의 방법론을 융합해 활용한다. 이를 실제 강의에 적용한 결과, ‘타자’와 ‘공동체’에 대한 학습자의 인식이 긍정적인 방향으로 변화한 것을 확인하였으며, 단일한 목표를 추구하는 ‘동일성’의 닫힌 공동체가 아닌, 듣기-쓰기를 통해 타자의 잡음을 경청하고 수렴하는 ‘존재 나눔’의 열린 공동체를 지향하는 교육목표를 전달할 수 있었다. ‘공동체 지향 글쓰기’ 방법론의 교육 효과는 1) 타자 및 공동체에 대한 인식의 변화(사회적 감수성의 심화), 2) 목적지향적 조별 활동을 벗어난 ‘글쓰기공동체’ 경험, 3) 듣기-쓰기 모형을 통한 공감능력 함양(인성교육), 4) 글쓰기 능력 신장, 5) 글쓰기 교육에 대한 인식의 변화와 수업 만족도 증가 등으로 요약할 수 있다.
