- Purpose : This study analyzes the process of spirituality restoration of the Enneagram type 2, 3, 4. Methods : The study discusses the process of disidentification with personality type following the identification with it, and tries to associate the results with the Christian spirituality. Results : The process of disidentifying with discovering negative aspects of one’s personality requires a conscious effort. This process also requires enduring the voluntary suffering, which is same as crucifying oneself. Furthermore, we can accept the gift of Grace when we reveal ourselves. Conclusion : The more one accepts the negative aspects of one’s personality, the greater the possibility of self-change becomes. Self-change is transition of the state of being, a restoration of the Essential nature, and a restoration of the Christian spirituality.
