The purpose of this study is to examine whether the awareness of informal labeling experienced after the first protective disposition influences repeated delinquencies with adolescents having received protective dispositions more than twice from judicial authorities for their delinquencies and also verify if social support has moderating effect in the relations of those variables. The data were collected from two probation offices located in Busan and adolescents-related agencies providing probation programs. The data were collected through the self-administered questionnaire method, and 119 reliably answered sheets were utilized for final analysis. According to the results, informal labeling did have directly positive effect on repeated delinquencies, and about social support, parent and peer support exerted negative effect on repeated delinquencies. Regarding moderating effect, parent and teacher support interacted with informal labeling and showed buffering effect on repeated delinquencies. In other words, the group having high parent and teacher support did not indicate significant change in their frequencies of repeated delinquencies regardless of their awareness of informal labeling; however, the group having low parent and teacher support tended to show dramatically increased frequencies of repeated delinquencies when they were highly aware of informal labeling. Based on the discussion over those results, this researcher has drawn implications from the perspective of social welfare.

본 연구는 비행으로 인해 사법기관에서 두 번 이상 보호처분을 받은 청소년을 대상으로 첫 번째 보호처분 이후에 경험한 비공식낙인에 대한 인식이 재비행에 미치는 영향과 이들 변인 간의 관계에서 사회적지지가 조절효과를 가지는지를 검증하기 위해 설계되었다. 자료수집은 부산 소재 두 곳의 보호관찰소 및 보호관찰 관련 프로그램을 수행하는 청소년 관련 기관에서 이루어졌다. 자료수집방법은 자기기입식 설문조사이며, 성실하게 응답된 119부가 최종분석에 활용되었다. 연구결과, 비공식낙인은 재비행에 직접적인 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 사회적지지에서는 부모 및 또래지지가 재비행에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 조절효과에서는 부모지지와 교사지지가 비공식낙인과 상호작용하여 재비행을 완충하는 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 부모지지와 교사지지가 높은 집단은 비공식낙인의 인식수준에 관계없이 재비행의 횟수에서 큰 변화를 보이지 않았지만 부모지지 및 교사지지가 낮은 집단은 비공식낙인의 인식수준이 높을 경우 재비행 횟수가 급격히 높아지는 특성을 보였다. 이러한 결과에 따른 논의를 중심으로 사회복지적 시사점을 도출하였다.
