In this paper, in order to improve the teaching contents on even and odd number, composition and decomposition of numbers, and (1 digit)+(1 digit) with carrying, (10 and 1 digit)-(1 digit) with borrowing, the corresponding teaching contents in ≪Math 1-1≫, ≪Math 1-2≫ are critically reviewed. Implications obtained through this review can be summarized as follows. First, the current incomplete definition of even and odd numbers would need to be reconsidered, and the appropriateness of dealing with even and odd numbers in first grade would need to be reconsidered. Second, it is necessary to deal with composition and decomposition of numbers less than 20. That is, it need to be considered to compose (10 and 1 digit) with 10 and (1 digit) and to decompose (10 and 1 digit) into 10 and (1 digit) on the basis of the 10. And the sequence dealing with composition and decomposition of 10 before dealing with composition and decomposition of (10 and 1 digit) need to be considered. And it need to be considered that composing (10 and 1 digit) with (1 digit) and (1 digit) and decomposing (10 and 1 digit) into (1 digit) and (1 digit) are substantially useless. Third, it is necessary to eliminate the logical leap in the calculation process. That is, it need to be considered to use the composing (10 and 1 digit) with 10 and (1 digit) and decomposing (10 and 1 digit) into 10 and (1 digit) on the basis of the 10 to eliminate the leap which can be seen in the explanation of calculating (1 digit)+(1 digit) with carrying, (10 and 1 digit)-(1 digit) with borrowing. And it need to be considered to deal with the vertical format for calculation of (1 digit)+(1 digit) with carrying and (10 and 1 digit)-(1 digit) with borrowing in ≪ Math 1-2≫, or it need to be considered not to deal with the vertical format for calculation of (1 digit)+(1 digit) with carrying and (10 and 1 digit)-(1 digit) with borrowing in ≪Math 1-2 workbook≫ for the consistency.

본 논문에서는 짝수와 홀수, 수의 합성과 분해, 받아올림과 받아내림이 각각 있는 (몇)+ (몇), (십 몇)-(몇)과 관련된 지도 내용의 개선을 위해 ≪수학 1-1≫, ≪수학 1-2≫에서의 해 당 지도 내용을 검토하였다. 이러한 검토를 통해 얻은 시사점은 다음 세 가지이다. 첫째, 짝 수와 홀수의 정의를 재고할 필요가 있다. 또, ≪수학 1-1≫에서 짝수와 홀수를 취급하는 것 이 합리적인지 재고할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 20 이하의 수의 합성․분해를 취급할 필요가 있다. 즉, 10을 기준으로 하여 ‘10과 (몇)으로 (십 몇)’, ‘(십 몇)으로 10과 (몇)’이라는 합성․분해의 취급을 고려할 필요가 있다. 또, 10의 합성․분해를 (십 몇)의 합성․분해보다 먼저 취급하는 지도 순서를 고려할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 계산 과정에서의 논리적 비약을 해소할 필요가 있다. 즉, 받아올림이 있는 (몇)+(몇)과 받아내림이 있는 (십 몇)-(몇)의 계산에서 10을 기준으로 하여 ‘10과 (몇)으로 (십 몇)’, ‘(십 몇)으로 10과 (몇)’이라는 수의 합성․분해의 사용을 고려 할 필요가 있다. 또, 필산 형식의 지도에서 일관성을 유지할 필요가 있다.
