This study focuses on a poetic figuration and its meaning of ManchuriaErlebnis of Korean Modern Poetry which has started from the enlightenmentera. Among important poets who entered the Korean modern poetry world inthe late 1930s and played roles of filling a vacuum in the dark ages, this studyselected three poets, Lee Yong-ak(‘The Girl of Jeollado’), Yoon Dong-ju(‘TheNight of Counting the Stars’), and Baek Seok(‘At the North: To JeongHyun-woong’). It studied the poetic figuration of the poets and its meaning withthe concept of the poetic subject, the other, and the experience. In other words,this study explains the relationship between the subject and the other, and thepoetic figuration and its meaning. Poems of the three poets in this study select a method that the poetic subjecttries to communicate with the other. ‘I’, the subject, try to communicate withthe other in relationships of ‘I(man of hamgyongdo) - you(girl of jeollado), I- mother(family), I - Jeong Hyun-woong(friend)’. This poetic figuration is notonly the way of arousing the other’s compathy but also, from a differentviewpoint, the way of objectifying the experience of the subject and the other. Through this method of communication, readers(learners) accept the objectifiedsubject and the experience of the other.

이 글은 근대 계몽기부터 시작된 한국 근대문학의 만주 체험의 시적 형상화 방식과 그 의미를 살펴보았다. 특히 1930년대 후반 우리 근대 시단에 등장하여 일제 말 암흑기의 공백을메꾸어주는 역할을 하는 중요시인들 중에서 만주 체험을 시적으로 형상화한 이용악(<전라도가시내>), 윤동주(<별 헤는 밤>), 백석(<북방(北方)에서 – 정현웅에게>)의 시를 선택하여,이 세 시인들의 시적 형상화의 양상과 그 의미를 주체, 타자, 체험이라는 개념을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 즉 주체와 타자의 관계, 시적 형상화 방식과 의미를 설명하였다. 이 글에서 분석한 세 시인의 시는 주체가 타자에게 대화를 시도하는 방식을 선택하고 있다. 즉 시의 주체인 ‘나’는 ‘나(함경도 사내) - 너(전라도 가시내), 나 – 어머니(가족), 나 – 정현웅(친구)’라는 관계에서 상대인 타자에게 대화를 시도하고 있다. 이런 대화라는 시적 형상화방식은 타자의 동감을 유도하는 방식이면서, 다른 관점에서는 주체와 타자의 체험을 대상화하는 방식이다. 그리고 독자(학습자)는 궁극적으로 이러한 의사소통 방식을 통해서 대상화된 주체와 타자의 체험을 수용하게 된다.
