The purpose of this paper is observe a study of comparison about management status of farm management entities between metropolitan area and non-metropolitan area. According to the result, the financial stability in metropolitan was fragile because loan amount was 4.7 times of non-metropolitan and the growth rate in metropolitan was fluctuational but the sale increase rate in non-metropolitan was constant. In the result analyzing the profitability, the profitability in metropolitan was lower than non-metropolitan as a net-profit rate to total asset in non-metropolitan was 3 times of metropolitan and a net-profit rate to sales amount was 23.5% in metropolitan, 55.7% in non-metropolitan individually. As NPV in non-metropolitan was calculated positive(+) value and the NPV in metropolitan was calculated negative(-) value continuously, the feasibility in non-metropolitan was good. Depending on the result analyzed with comparison, improvement plans in metropolitan are to raise financial stability reducing the loan whenever they achieve the net-profit, to increase the growth through a high-level marketing of special crops and high quality, and to seek the farm management considering net-profit rate. Improvement plan in non-metropolitan is to increase a net-profit scale through the economy of scale. The suggestion of this paper is to indicate for analyzing the management status of farm and suggesting improvement plans in metropolitan and non-metropolitan area.

본 연구는 농업경영체들을 대상으로 실시한 정밀경영 컨설팅 사례를 바탕으로 수도권과 비수도권의 경영실태에 관한 비교연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 수도권은 차입금 규모가 비수도권에 비해 4.7배 많아서 재무안정성이 취약하였으며, 성장성은 비수도권은 매출액증가율이 일정하였으나 수도권은 매출액증가율의 등락이 컸다. 수익성은 비수도권의 총자산순이익율이 수도권 보다 3배 높았고, 매출액순이익율은 수도권은 23.5%, 비수도권 55.7%로써 수도권이 낮았다. 순현재가치는 수도권은 음(-)의 값, 비수도권은 양(+)의 값이 발생하여 비수도권의 사업성이 양호하였다. 개선방안은 수도권은 순이익이 발생하는 데로 차입금을 상환하여 재무안정성을 높이고, 특화작물 및 고품질을 통한 고급마케팅에 주력하여 성장성을 올려야 하며, 순이익율을 고려한 농업경영을 추구해야 한다. 비수도권은 규모의 경제를 추구하여 순이익 규모를 늘려야 한다. 수도권과 비수도권별로 경영실태를 파악하고 개선방안을 제시한데 대해 연구의 시사점이 있다.
