The purpose of this research was to conduct a study of relation among management style of violence, awareness of human rights and burnout through experienced level of violence of psychiatric nurses working at the national hospitals. A total of 195 psychiatric nurses who are working at the national hospitals located in S, C, G and N cities and C county were asked to complete the questionnaires containing a descriptive research. Psychiatric mental health nurse got the most verbal abuse among three different violences. There was a significant positive relation between the level of violence experience and burnout. But there was significant negative relation between burnout and awareness of human rights. Emotional exhaustion of burnout was highest level compared to personal accomplishment and depersonalization. To decrease the burnout of psychiatric mental health nurse, prevention of violence should be considered at first. In addition, promoting awareness of human rights for psychiatric nurses is also reduced burnout. It is necessary to make a groundwork for awareness of human right of nurses who were exposed to violence in psychiatric unit.

폭력경험과 폭력관리 유형 및 인권의식이 국립병원 정신간호사의 소진에 미치는 영향을 분석하 였다. S, C, G, N 및 C 도시에 있는 국립병원에서 일하는 195명의 정신간호사들이 서술적 조사연구에 참 여하였다. 정신간호사는 3가지 폭력 중 언어폭력을 가장 많이 경험하였으며 폭력경험과 소진 사이에는 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 반대로 인권의식과 소진의 관계에서는 유의한 음의 상관관계를 나타내 었고 소진의 하위영역 중 감정적인 소진은 개인적 성취감과 비인간화와 비교하여 가장 높은 수준을 보 였다. 정신간호사의 소진을 감소시키기 위하여 가장 먼저 고려되어야 할 것은 폭력을 예방하는 것이며 정신간호사의 인권의식이 증진되면 소진은 감소되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 국립병원에서 폭력에 노 출된 간호사를 위한 폭력예방, 폭력관리 및 인권의식 향상을 위한 중재개발이 우선적으로 필요하다.
