Today Korean churches are listening to the outcries that point to the deterioration of their reputation in Korea. The main reason for this is the improper behavior of Christians, even the very church leaders who teach lay Christians. This paper asserts the urgent need for change and a new movment in the ministry of teachers among the church leaders as they truly are important spiritual leaders of the church and its educational system. Thus this paper studies the meaning of the "Reformed Life Educational Theology"'s and tries to understand the church education as structure and process. This paper insists that the current circumstance of churches and church schools are mainly the result of theology, and examines the necessity of theological diversity, which is needed for Korean churches and church educational system as well, by comparing Calvinism and Arminiaism and also, looks at the importance of theological receptivity which is the basis for the movement towards effective church union and collaboration. This paper also studies not only the meaning of the educational theology of Reformed Life Theology but also church education as the process of Reformed Life Theology, and eternal life and salvation life as essential to the structure of Reformed Life Theology. Finally, this paper studies church education, which is not only based on theology which is just theory centered, but based on theology which is Gospel and Life centered, through 7 practical movements essential to Reformed Life Theology in pursuit of a faith education community that emphasizes “real life(삶)” instead of church education that has the tendency to emphasize theoretical “knowledge(앎).”

오늘의 한국교회는 한국 사회에서 좋지 못한 평판을 듣고 있다. 그 주된 이유는 기독교인들의 올바르지 못한 행동양식들 때문이며, 보다 더 본질적으로 그들을 가르치는 교회의 지도자에 문제가 있기 때문이다. 본 논문은 교회의 지도자들 중 가운데 교사가 참으로 중요한 영적 지도자임을 인지하고 이들의 주 무대인 교회학교의 새로운 변화와 도약이 절실히 필요함을 주장한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 “개혁주의생명신학”의 교육신학적 의미를 살펴보고 교회교육을 구조로서 또한 과정으로서 이해하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 오늘 한국에서의 교회와 더불어서 교회학교가 쇠퇴하는 오늘날의 현 상황에 대한 현상학적 측면과 더불어서 보다 본질적 측면에 있어서 신학의 영향과 결과임을 주장한다. 또한 신학의 진정한 의미와 더불어서 이 시대에 절실하게 필요하게 느껴지는 신학의 다양성을 칼빈주의와 알미니안주의를 통해서 살펴보았고, 교회의 연합운동의 기초가 되는 신학의 수용성을 논의하였다. 이와 더불어 “개혁주의생명신학”의 교육신학적 의미를 살펴보되, 개혁주의생명교육신학 구조로서의 영생과 생명구원과 더불어서 개혁주의생명교육신학 과정으로서의 교회교육을 논의한다. 또한 “앎”을 강조하는 이론적 교육중심의 교회교육과 더불어서 “삶”을 강조하는 신앙교육공동체인 교회교육을 통하여 “이론화 된 신학”중심이 아닌 “복음과 생명으로서의 신학” 중심의 교회교육에 관하여 논의 하였다.
