This work aims to present and analyze what has been described as advanced proficiency in Portuguese as an additional language (PAL) according to the specifications of the Certificate of Proficiency in Portuguese for Speakers of Other Languages – Celpe-Bras (BRASIL, 2006). The analysis focused on what the exam presents as advanced level of proficiency ir order to discuss some possible organization of the curricular progression, teaching methodology, contents and objectives for advanced Portuguese teaching. Based on the results of the analysis, some PAL teaching objectives for advanced levels are proposed.

Este trabajo tiene por objetivo presentar y analizar lo que se ha descrito como conocimientos avanzados en portugués como lengua adicional (PLA) de acuerdo con las especificaciones del Certificado de Aptitud en portugués para Hablantes de Otros Idiomas - Celpe-Bras (BRASIL, 2006). El análisis se centró en lo que el examen presenta como nivel avanzado de dominio de forma a discutir una posible organización de la progresión curricular, la metodología de enseñanza, los contenidos y los objetivos para la enseñanza de portugués avanzado. Con base en los resultados del análisis, se proponen algunos objetivos de enseñanza de PLA para los niveles avanzados.
