The purpose of this study is to analyse the effect of the Physical Touch Playing Program on the happiness of children. The objects of this study are 28 students in A elementary school located in C-do as experimental group. Also, we sampled 28 students in B elementary school as control group. The experimental group had total 20 times of the Physical Touch Playing Program for about 2 months. Afterwards, through pre and post tests on the happiness of children, the independent sample t-test was applied to find out the effect of the Physical Touch Playing Program. The result of this study as follows; the experimental group and control group which had the same pre happiness of p>.05 each group showed significant difference of p<.05 in the post test done after applying the Physical Touch Playing Program. Looking at it in more details by sub factors, all four sub factors, friendship (p=0.020), teacher relationship (p=0.002), self-efficacy (p=0.001), and psychological stability (p=0.000) had significant difference. This means that the Physical Touch Playing Program gives positive influence on the happiness of children. Based on the program operation and result of this research, some suggestions for the future studies were discussed.

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 고학년 아동에게 적합한 신체접촉 놀이프로그램을 개발하고 이 것을 아동에게 적용해 봄으로서, 신체접촉 놀이프로그램이 아동의 행복감에 미치는 영향을 탐색하는 것이다. 본 연구는 C도 A초등학교 학생과 B초등학교 학생을 대상으로 신체접촉 놀 이프로그램의 효과에 대하여 알아보았다. 그 결과 신체접촉 놀이프로그램을 적용 후 각 집단 의 행복감은 p<.05로 유의한 차가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 친구관계(p=0.020), 교사관계 (p=0.002), 자기효능감(p=0.001), 심리적안정감(p=0.000) 등의 네 가지 하위 요인 모두 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이 연구의 프로그램 운영 및 연구 결과를 근거로 하여 후속 연구를 위한 몇 가지 제언을 하였다.
