The purpose of this study is to explore the ways of improvement of sexual abuse prevention education in school, centered on teachers’opinions. Recently sexual abuse occurs consistently and become serious problem in our society. Parents take an important part in sex-education in former times, but the role of parents’ sex-education has been weaken more and more. In these circumstances the role of school about sexual abuse prevention education is important more than ever. School sexual abuse prevention education is expanded gradually but students’satisfaction have row as ever. Therefore It is need to explore the ways of improvement of sexual abuse prevention education in school for successful management. To do this, a survey was used and subjects of the study was teachers, elementary, middle and high school, total 1,393. As a result of data analysis, the differences among teachers are found about the perception and demand of sexual abuse prevention education. The conclusions are as follows: First, the fundamental purpose of sexual abuse prevention education in school must be education of humanistic to cultivate healthy value about sex. And contents related to human right education are increased to develop the ability of expressing one’s thought frankly and naturally. Second, sexual abuse prevention education should be reflect the difference of the level of school and school type, boy-school, girl-school, coed-school in secondary school. Third, several ways for the improvement of teachers’ profession should be supply because teachers’ speciality for sexual abuse prevention education is crucial factor influencing effective management. Forth, from an educational point of view, it should be supply support and effort enduringly to wrongdoing students. Fifth, School should be give specific information about sexual abuse prevention education in school to parents and manage various education program to increase parents’ ability as helper.

본 연구는 학교 성폭력예방교육의 효율적인 운영을 위한 개선방안을 탐색하기 위해 담당교사들의 견해를 학 교급별, 성별, 학교유형별에 따라 비교, 분석하였다. 성폭력 발생은 개인적·가정적·사회적 요인 등 복합적 요 인에 의한 것으로 갈수록 가정의 성교육 역할이 약화되는 상황에서 학교의 교육적 역할이 강조되기 때문이다. 이를 위해 개선방안에 대한 설문과 자유기술식 문항 조사를 병행하였다. 연구결과, 대부분 교사들은 학교 성폭력예방교육의 효과에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었으며 문항별로 학 교급별, 학교유형별, 성별에 따른 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 학교 성폭력예방교육을 위한 개선방안으로 다음 결론을 제시하였다. 첫째, 학교성폭력예방교육의 기본 방향은 성에 대한 올바른 가치관 형성이라는 인성교육을 중심으로 인권교 육에 대한 내용을 확대할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 학교급 뿐 아니라 중등학교의 경우 학교유형에 따른 차이가 고려 되어야 한다. 셋째, 학교 성폭력예방교육의 질적 향상을 위해 담당교사들에게 전문적인 지원을 제공해야 한다 . 넷째, 학교 성폭력예방교육의 본질적 목적을 고려할 때 가해학생들에 대한 지속적인 관심과 지도가 필요하 다. 다섯째, 학부모들에게 학교 성폭력예방교육에 대한 구체적인 정보를 제공하고 학부모를 협조자로 참여시 키기 위한 다양한 교육프로그램을 운영할 필요가 있다.
