- Kim, Sunyoung. 2015. The Research of the Construction 'adjective+-ge doeda'. Korean Journal of Linguistics, 40-1, 19-39. This paper examines the condition of the usage of 'adj+-ge doeda' which indicates the change of state. 'Adj+-ge doeda' is divided into the class of 'nolahge doeda' and the that of 'ganeunghage doeda.' The former shows the change of property while the latter shows the change of situation. In these cases 'Adj+-ge' modifies 'doeda', which functions as predicate. However, the major meaning of 'adj+-ge doeda' implies the change of situation. For this, 'doeda' combines with adj. that can show situational changes depending on external conditions. Furthermore, '-ge doeda' combines with the construction '-eo jida', when it goes with a conditional or causal clause. The construction '-ge doeda' is often used in oder to show events that have occurred regardless of speaker's will. (Sungshin women's University)
