With the developments in science and technology, the Warfighting concept is rapidly moving into Network-Centric Warfare Operations. To perform Network-Centric Warfare Operations, it is vital for the hitting weapon to be connected to the sensor systems and the C4I systems. The number of software for these weapon systems is gradually increasing, and R&D (research and development) on, as well as the maintenance of, high-tech weapon systems is important. Under these circumstances, although the importance of the software ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) is recognized, the life cycle of weapon systems software research on how to apply the LCSP (Life Cycle Sustainment Plan) is insufficient. This study analyzed these problems with weapon systems software through a literature review and suggested the application of the RAM, LSA, and LCS processes to the LCSP of the weapon system software. It could be useful for the development of the weapon system software.

IT기술의 발달로 소프트웨어는 무기체계의 성능을 결정짓는 핵심요소로 대두되고 있다. 무기체계는 수명주기 동안 유지·관리하는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하나, 소프트웨어의 수명주기관리에 관한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문은 무기체계 소프트웨어에 적용할 수명주기지속계획(LCSP) 전체 업무 프로세스와 소프트웨어 신뢰도 분석, 군수지원분석(LSA), 수명주기지속(LCS)요소 개발에 대한 세부 프로세스 및 적용 방안을 제시하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 방안은 방위사업청에서 추진하는 소프트웨어 종합군수지원과 국방부의 수명주기지속계획을 추진하는데 실무적으로 유용한 참고자료가 될 것이다.
