The questions, which were related to the scale for the observation of children in conjunction with Nuri curriculum developed in this study, were verified from the three standpoints, i.e., the soundness of questions, validity of scale, and reliability thereof, and based on the results of verification, the scale was brought to completion. The reliability for each area was found to be stable with the young children's physical health/exercise reliability of .09, communication reliability of .94, social relationship reliability of .92, artistic experience reliability of .94, and natural exploration reliability of .93. First, the teachers will be able to observe young children by using this scale at the site of early childhood education. Second, the findings from the observation in kindergartens and child care centers will provide the basis for the counselling for parents. Particularly, this observation scale includes negative items, and therefore will show the negative aspects of young children from objective perspective. Third, this scale can be used not only by teachers as the observation scale linked with the Nuri curriculum, but also enables the observation by parents. and for that reason, promotes the incorporation of parents' opinion related to the development of young children.

이 연구에서 개발된 누리과정에 연계한 유아관찰 척도의 문항은 문항의 양호도, 척도의 타당도, 신뢰도 세 가지 측면을 중심으로 검증하였으며 검증된 결과를 통하여 척도를 완성하였다. 첫째, 문 항의 양호도를 살펴본 결과 평균은 2.55에서 4.56사이에 분포되었으며, 상·하위 집단 간 점수 차이도 모든 문항에 대해서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 따라서 이 척도를 통해 누리과정에 연계한 관찰을 할 때 상위 집단과 하위 집단 간의 차이를 변별할 수 있는 평가 도구임을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 구인타당 도를 살펴보기 위하여 각 문항별로 총점 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 106개 모든 문항에서 유의미 한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 문항의 신뢰도를 살펴본 결과 전체의 Cronbach’s α 계수는 .98로 신뢰도가 양호하게 나타났으며 각 각 영역별 신뢰도는 유아의 신체운동 건강 .09, 의사소통 .94, 사회관계 .92, 예술경험 .94, 자연탐구 .93으로 각 영역별로 사용함에 있어서도 신뢰도는 안정적 이라고 할 수 있었다. 첫째, 유아교육 현장에서 활용하여 교사들이 유아들을 관찰할 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 유치원과 어린이집에서 관찰한 내용이 부모와 상담자료로 근거를 마련할 수 있을 것이다. 특 히 이 관찰 척도는 부정적인 항목을 포함하고 있어서 유아의 부정적인 면을 객관적으로 보여 줄 수 있을 것이다. 셋째, 이 척도는 누리과정과 연계한 관찰 척도로써 교사만 사용할 수 있는 것이 아니 라, 부모도 함께 관찰 할 수 있어서 유아들의 발달에 대한 부모의 의견을 이 척도를 사용하여 수렴 할 수도 있을 것이다.
