The purpose of this study is to observe the characteristics of vocabularyuse of the encyclopedia of korean language education Text. The author ofthe encyclopedia education belongs to one of professionals. Looking intolinguistic characteristic in a dictionary by a professional group of onestudy is related to looking into academic characteristics of KoreanEducation Linguistics. The first objective of this study was to observe linguistic characteristicsused by academic discourse group of Korean Educational Linguistics bycollecting the manuscript of the encyclopedia education and describingthe aspect of vocabulary use. In the point that the writer of dictionarydescribes relevant terminology in the position as a professional comparedto the user of dictionary, language use attitude of professional group wasanalyzed through the use of conclusion type. To solve such researchproblem, Korean morphological analyzer and a separate program weremade for analysis. Through this study, the characteristic of noun whichliterary text of special field such as Korean Educational Linguistics hascan be estimated and the subject area of the encyclopedia of koreanlanguage education through noun with high frequency could be examined. Further, the fact that the use of adjective and the past form ofverb appeared in the middle of dictionary text and the present form ofverb appears at the beginning and the end to exclude the writer'ssubjective style of writing in some degree looked as characteristic ofdictionary text. This study would be meaningful in the point that thewriter who writes the dictionary text is a professional and thecharacteristics of dictionary text can be examined through the aspectswhich euphemistical expression, normative expression and declarativeexpression appear in the professional terminology which the professionalgroup uses.

이 연구는 한국어교육학 사전 텍스트의 어휘 사용의 특성을 밝히는 데목적이 있다. 전문 용어 사전인 한국어교 육학 사전의 집필자는 전문가에 해당한다. 한 학문의 전문가 집단이 사전에 사용하는 언어적 특성을 살피는 것 은 한국어교육학의 학문적 특성을 살피는 것과도 관련이된다고 하겠다. 본 연구는 한국어교육학 사전의 기술 원고를 수합하여 어휘 사용의 양상을 기술하여, 한국어교육학의 학문적 담화 집단이 사용하는 언어적특성을 살피는 것이 일차적인 목표였다. 또한 사전 집필자는 사전 사용자에 의해 전문가로서의 지위를 확보한 상태에서 해당 용어를 가술해 나간다는 점에서 전문가 집단의 언어 사용 특성을 종결형 사용을통해 살피고자 하였다. 이러한 연구 문제의 해결을 위해 객관적 연구방법인 한글 형태소 분석기 와 별도의 말뭉치 프로그램을 만들어 이를분석하였다. 한국어교육학 사전 텍스트의 어휘 사용의 특성 연구를 통해, 한국어교육학이라는 학문 분야의 전문가 집단이 사용하는 어휘 사용의 특성을어느 정도 가늠할 수 있었다. 또한 빈도가 높은 명사를 통해 한국어교육학 사전의 주제 영역을 살필 수 있었으며 형용사와 동사 사용의 특성으로 사전의 미시 구조를 예측할 수 있었다. 무엇보다 본 연구에서사전 텍스트를 기술하는 필자가 전문가라는 점에서 전문가 집단이 기술하는 전문 용어 사전 기술 에서 완곡한 표현, 당위적 표현, 선언적 표현이 나타나는 양상을 통해 사전 텍스트의 특성을 살필 수 있었다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다.
