This Study provides a comparative analysis between companies in BI and Pre-BI. It is widely believed that Business incubator contribute to the nurturing of new technology- based firm. But there are no studies about the role of Pre-BI. In this study, we compared the attributes what they want based on the Kano model. The Timko algorithm is useful for research purposes. Research has shown that, each companies has different satisfaction index for a variety of attributes. Especially, the companies in Pre-BI incubators were identified that they wanted to be trained in regard to intellectual property and manpower expertise. And they showed the high satisfaction index to over-sea market exploring support and market entry support. But the companies in BI incubators showed high dissatisfaction index to entrepreneurship education and support for relationship with local government. These research outputs will contribute to confirm what activities will be necessary for central government and local government. Until now, support to start-up business was so much uniform. So, central and local government didn't know what each company category did want. This research contributes to assist planners and policymakers in supporting business incubators by providing useful information about the results of the comparison. The future research should include explorinng the impact of those demographic and performance variables on practical measurement between the two incubators.

본 연구는 창업보육센터(BI)와 예비창업보육센터(PreBI)의 품질 속성을 평가하였으며, 이러 한 품질속성평가를 통해 제한된 자원을 보다 효과적이며 효율적으로 사용하여 각 센터의 입주해 있는 기업의 생존력을 높이는 방법에 대해서 연구하였다. 결국 각 카테고리에 속하 는 신생 기업들이 필요로하는 창업지원 활동을 분별있는 확인하여 중앙정부와 지방정부의 지원활동에 대한 효과성을 높이기 위한 목적으로 연구가 진행되었다. 이러한 연구를 위해 본 연구에서는 KANO모델에 기반한 잠재적 고객만족지수를 개선하여 잠재적 기업만족지수로 연구를 실시하였으며, BI와 PreBI간 잠재적인 기업만족개선지수의 차이가 나타나는 것으로 나타났다. BI의 경우 기타지원 분야의 만족도에서 상당히 긍정적인 반응을 보였으며, 네트워크 및 교 육훈련지원 분야에서 부정적인 반응을 보였다. PreBI는 재무지원 분야의 만족도에서 긍정 적인 반응을 보였으며, 네트워크 및 기타지원 분야에서 부정적인 영향을 보이는 것으로 분 석되었다. 잠재적 기업만족계수 분석에서는 BI의 경우 네트워크 지원과 교육훈련 지원 분야가 많이 부족하다고 조사되어 교육훈련 분야에 대한 추가 지원이 필요한 것으로 파악되 었다.
