This research traces the making of the extant two volumes of Sŭnggasuch’angnok (僧加酬唱錄) and analyzes the poets’ social intercourse. Sŭnggasuch’angnok is an anthology of poetry exchanged among six Sŏnggyungwan Confucian scholars, Hŏ Sŏng, Hong Isang, U Pokryong, Sŏk Ham, I Sŏnkyŏng, and I Chŏngu, studying at Sŭnggasa Temple in the spring of 1575. Hŏ Sŏng and Hong Isang sought to record the poems and Hong collected them in the form of the Sŭngga Such’angnok. While the six studied Neo-Confucianism, appreciated natural landscapes, and exchanged poetry, they also actively included members of the lower class Sŏ Ki and Yu Hŭikyŏng in their gatherings. Despite their status, they shared a poetic space with the members of the Sŭnggasa Temple and were respected as seniors and poetry companions for their learning and poetic themes. Through these sources, one can examine the daily lives of sixteenth century Confucian scholars studying and associating freely back and forthin the walls a Buddhist temple away from the confines of Sŏnggyungwan Academy.

본 연구는 현전하는 2종의 『승가수창록』을 대상으로 하여 그 성립 과정을 추적 하고 시 수창자들의 교유양상을 분석한 것이다.『승가수창록』은 1575년 여섯 명 의 젊은 성균관 유생들이 봄 한 철 승가사에 머물면서 공부할 때 주고받은 시를 수록해 놓은 것이다. 여섯 사람은 허성, 홍이상, 우복룡, 석함, 이선경, 이정우이 다. 이들 가운데 수창 기록을 남기도록 주도적으로 이끌었던 사람은 허성과 홍이 상이었고 이후 『승가수창록』의 형태로 수습한 이는 홍이상이었다.『승가수창록』은 20대의 유생들이 어떻게 창화를 통해 동인의식이 싹트는 지 보여주는 자료라 할 수 있다.
