In this study, the local children's center for children who applied to Korean painting media group art therapy on the self-esteem and self-expression will be studied for the effect. Progress of the study from the December 7, 2012 through February 22, applied to Korean painting media research group art therapy program, subject selection, pre-test, applied to Korean painting media program implementation and application of group art therapy, post-test, data processing was done in order. The subject of the excellent local children's center in Chungnam elementary school children of seven to 60 minutes twice a week for a total of 12 sessions were conducted in 0.12 sessions to verify the effect of group art therapy program, conducted before and after the Rosenberg (1965 ) examination of self-esteem, Rokos & Schroeder (1979) examination of self-expression, and drawing tests (K-HTP: a dynamic home-tree-person) study was carried out by conducting the session. Korean painting medium is applied to the study group art therapy program for children with local children's center on the effect of self-esteem and self-expression was, Pictures examination (K-HTP) of the pre-and post-test analysis of the contraction compared with pre-become unstable state, such as interaction with other people has slowed positive changes were observed. In addition, while free to express his feelings of self-esteem and self-expression, self-confidence rise was found to be enhanced.

본 연구는 지역아동센터 아동을 대상으로 한국화 매체를 적용한 집단미술치료가 자아 존중감과 자기표현에 미치는 효과에 대해 연구한 것이다. 연구의 진행은 한국화 매체 를 적용한 집단미술치료 프로그램 연구, 대상자 선정, 사전검사, 한국화 매체를 적용 한 집단미술치료 프로그램 실시 및 적용, 사후검사, 자료처리의 순으로 이루어졌다. 연구 대상은 충남의 H지역아동센터의 초등학교 저학년 아동7명으로 주 2회 60분으로 총 12회기를 2013년 1월 7일부터 2월 22일 까지 프로그램을 실시하였고, 연구의 효과 를 검증하기 위하여 프로그램 실시 사전⋅사후에 Rosenberg(1965)의 자아존중감 검 사, Rokos & Schroeder(1979)의 자기표현 검사, 그리고 그림검사(K-HTP: 동적 집-나 무-사람)를 실시하고, 회기별 고찰을 하였다. 연구결과는 한국화 매체를 적용한 집단미술치료 프로그램이 지역아동센터 아동들에게 자아존중감과 자기표현에 효과가 있었으며, 그림 검사(K-HTP)의 사전⋅사후검사를 실 시하여 분석한 결과 사전에 비해 위축되고 불안정한 모습 등은 줄어들었고 타인과의 상호작용에 긍정적인 변화가 관찰되었다. 또한 자기감정을 자유롭게 표현하면서 자신 감 상승으로 자아존중감과 자기표현이 향상된 것을 알 수 있었다.
