This Paper focuses on identifying and analyzing the technological gap and production induced effect on the intermediate products between Japan and Korea. Based on data from the Japan-Korea International Input-Output Table 2000 and 2008. The empirical results showed that still depends quite heavily on imported the intermediate products from Japan. The results also showed clearly that Japan is gradually becoming more dependent on Korea's the intermediate products industry. This implies that the technology gap between Korea and Japan has gradually narrowed throughout the sample period.

본 논문은 한일간 중간재의 상호 기술격차와 생산파급효과를 한일국제산업연관표를 이용하여 실증분석하고 있으며, 분석시점은 2000년부터 2008년을 대상으로 하고 있다. 분석결과, 한일간 중간재의 기술격차에 따른 수입의존도는 양국의 주력 수출산업을 중심으로 심화되고 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 한국의 대일 수입의존도는 감소세를 보이고 있는 반면, 일본의 대일 수입의존도는 점진적으로 증가하는 것으로 관찰되었다. 또한 한일간 중간재의 생산파급효과는 한국의 대일 생산파급효과가 한국의 그것에 비하여 상대적으로 높게 나타나, 여전히 대일 무역적자를 야기하는 구조적 특징을 보이고 있다. 이는 한국 중간재 생산 증대는 상대적으로 일본의 중간재 생산을 더 크게 유발하는 것을 의미한다.
