The purpose of this research is to develop the invention education program applying RESP educational model in the ‘Technology and Invention’ Unit in Technology and Home Economics 1 in the 2009 Revised Educational Curriculum. The conclusion of research is as follows. First, the procedural model for the development of invention education program applying the RESP model in “Technology and Invention’ Unit in Technology and Home Economics 1 in the 2009 Revised Education curriculum was developed. Second, the invention education program applying the RESP model was composed of finding scientific principles and technological characteristics hidden in the playground, what happened in the playground, and making our own safe and interesting playground. Third, the invention education program applying the RESP model was composed of materials for teachers and materials for students. The materials for students ware composed of the program guide, and learning activities of each domain. The materials for teachers included the summary of the program, the outline of the subject, teaching and learning process plan, and evaluation. Fourth, the validity of the development of the invention education program applying the RESP model was proved by revising and supplementing and finally completing the program by conducting consultation with the group of specialists, validity tests on specialists, and students’ evaluation in preliminary and field classes. Fifth, the results of actually applying the invention education program applying the RESP model showed that the program aroused students’ interest and invention learning motivation was enhanced.

이 연구의 목적은 2009 개정 교육과정 기술·가정1 ‘기술과 발명’ 단원에서의 RESP 교육모형을 적용 한 발명교육 프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. RESP 교육모형을 적용한 발명교육 프로그램 개발을 통해 학생들이 보다 다양한 아이디어를 떠올리는데 도움이 되고, 발명에 대하여 더 많은 관심과 흥미를 불 러일으킬 수 있는 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이 연구를 통해 도출한 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2009 개정 교육과정 기술·가정1 ‘기술과 발명’ 단원에서 RESP 교육모형을 적용한 발명교육 프 로그램 개발을 위한 절차 모형을 구안하였다. 둘째, 중학교 기술·가정1 ‘기술과 발명’ 단원에서 RESP 교육모형을 적용한 발명교육 프로그램은 놀 이터에 숨겨진 과학적 원리·기술적·공학적 특징 찾기, 놀이터에서 벌어진 일, 우리만의 안전하고 재 미있는 놀이터 만들기로 구성되었다. 셋째, 중학교 기술·가정1 ‘기술과 발명’ 단원에서 RESP 교육모형을 적용한 발명교육 프로그램은 교 사용 자료와 학생용 자료로 구성되어 있다. 넷째, 중학교 기술·가정1 ‘기술과 발명’ 단원에서 RESP 교육모형을 적용한 발명교육 프로그램 개발 은 전문가 집단의 협의와 전문가 타당도 검사, 예비수업과 현장수업에서 학생들의 평가를 통해 프로 그램이 수정·보완하여 최종적인 프로그램을 완성함으로써 타당함이 증명되었다.
