- In this study, the mediation effect of a positive discipline of mothers among the effects of family strengths on child-care center adjustment of young children was examined. In doing so, the validity of the hypothesis model was verified through reviewing precedent literature. The family strengths, child-care center adjustment, and the degrees of positive discipline of mothers were surveyed with questionnaires designed for 288 mothers of young children who attend child-care centers. The test of goodness of fit on the model was conducted by using Amos 20.0. Further, direct and indirect effects of the model were examined by the test of goodness of fit and estimation of parameters. As a result of the study, it was found that the family strength has positive effects on both the adjustment of child-care centers and the positive discipline of mothers. In addition, the positive discipline of mothers was found to have positive effects on the child-care center adjustment of young children. Finally, the mediation effect of the positive discipline of mothers among the effects of family strength on the child-care center adjustment of young children was also shown to have positive effects indirectly with a statistical significance.

- 본 연구에서는 가정의 건강성이 유아의 어린이집 적응에 미치는 영향 중 어머니의 긍정적 훈육이 매개효과에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구 고찰을 통하여 가설 모델의 타당성을 검증하고 어린이집에 재원하는 유아의 어머니 288명을 대상으로 가정의 건강성, 어린이집 적응, 어머니의 긍정적 훈육정도를 설문지를 통해 조사하여 Amos 20.0을 이용하여 설정한 모델에 대해 적합도 검증과 모수 추정을 통한 직,간접 효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과 가정 건강성이 어린이집 적응에 긍정적 영향을 미치며 가정 건강성은 어머니의 긍정적 훈육에도 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 어머니의 긍정적 훈육 역시 유아의 어린이집 적응에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 가정 건강성이 유아의 어린이집 적응에 미치는 영향 중 어머니의 긍정적 훈육의 매개효과 또한 긍정적 영향을 간접적으로 미치며 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다.
