Developing rapidly to “strategic cooperative partnership”, Korean-Chineseexchanges are under very active. After Korean Studies promotion project wasproceed by Republic of Korea Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister of culturesports and tourism and Ministry of Education, mainly in universities andsociety, Korea and China exchanges in humanities field have become moreactive. The main project of the Ministry of Education directly related toKorean-Chinese exchanges is overseas Korean Studies next generationstraining project, overseas Korean Studies seed type project, overseas Koreanstudies center -universities promoting project and so on. The propose of overseas Korean Studies next generations training projecteducate excellent student that was selected. and after returning home, theycontribute to the development of Korean studies in foreign nation. this projectrevitalized the training of graduate student in the University of China and,studying abroad and exchange program in the university affiliated with internaluniversity. next generations that are systematically trained to study KoreanStudies will play important role in interacting with each nation. Especiallyconsidering the importance in laying the foundation of Korean studies andeducational infrastructure in foreign nation, a related budget should beincreased. besides it is necessary to make new programs to attract foreignstudents. Overseas Korean Studies seed type project has for its object reinforcing theinternational competitiveness of Korean Studies, through the development ofeducation materials and managing education various programs. The tasks of59 around the world has been selected, but the Tasks of eight was selected inChina. This project, supported the research expenses in Korean studies researcherswith the ability of research and education of Korean studies, but systematicallythe infrastructure of research and education of the Korean Studies manyresearchers to prepare this brought the effect of such may be provided. In viewof the ripple effect of this project, it is necessary that business of two or moreyou have in the world is supported, in the wasteland of Korean studies, andcontinuously have an interest in supporting the development of educationmaterials and managing education various programs. Overseas Korean studies center-universities promoting project, sinceSeptember 2006, helped by selecting the 36 tasks total so far. In China, thereis that it has gone a pivotal role in Korean-Chinese humanities exchangesYanbian University, Central Ethnic University, Nanjing University, OceanUniversity of China, such as Shandong University has been selected as theUniversity of overseas center. this project, taking into account the point thatit is project to be developed as academic mainstream of the world Koreanstudies through cultural exchange of a prestigious scholar, to improve theinternational status of Korea, there is a need to expand significantly as theproject that many universities and many countries of the world are selected. However, since the amount of budget of Korean Studies promotion projectof the Ministry of Education is very low compared to developed countries, sothere is difficult to accomplish the project smoothly. Contents established the“Korean-Chinese humanities exchanges Committee” in Korean-Chinese summitmeeting of 2013, to strengthen the humanities relationship is included. In thewake of this, I expect that the Korean-Chinese humanities exchanges to furtheractivate budget is increased significantly. Also, For the sustainabledevelopment of bilateral relations, Korean-Chinese scholar want to handlenationalism, patriotism, cultural chauvinism between the two countriesactively in order to break down boundaries.

한중 관계가 ‘전략적 협력동반자관계’로 급속히 발전하면서 한중 교류는 아주 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 대 한민국 외교부, 문화체육관공부, 교육부에서 한국학진흥사업이 시행되면서 인문분야의 한중 교류는 대학과 학회를 중심으로 더욱 활성화되고 있다. 한중 교류와 직접 관련이 있는 교육부의 주요사업은 해외 한국학 학 문후속세대양성사업, 해외 한국학 씨앗형사업, 해외 한국학 중핵대학육성사업 등이다. 해외 한국학 학문후속세대 양성사업은 해외의 우수 인재들을 초청 선발하여 한국학 관련차세대 인력으로 양 성하고 귀국 후 해외 현지의 한국학 발전에 기여하는 한국학 관련 연구인력을 양성하려는 사업이다. 이 사업 은 중국대학의 대학원생 양성과 자매대학의 대학원생 유학 및 교환 프로그램의 활성화를 가져왔다. 한국학 학 문후속세대들은 한국학 연구와 교육을 체계적으로 준비하여 한중 인문 교류에 가교 역할을 할 인재들이다. 이 사업이 한국학 연구와 교육의 인프라를 구축하는데 절대적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 점을 고려하여 계속해서 예산을 증액해나갈 필요가 있으며, 국내 연구 인력의 부족을 메우기 위해서 유학생들을 적극 유치할 수 있는 프로그램을 꾸준히 개발해나가야 할 것이다. 해외 한국학 씨앗형 사업은 해외의 한국학 교육을 육성하기 위한 다양한 교육 프로그램과교육 자료를 개발하 고 운영하여 한국학의 국제 경쟁력을 강화하려는 사업이다. 세계 각지의59개 과제가 선정되었는데, 중국에서 는 8개 과제가 선정되었다. 이 사업은 한국학 연구와 교육의 역량을 갖춘 한국학 연구자들에게 연구비를 지원 함으로써, 이를 준비하기 위하여 많은 한국학 연구자들에게 연구와 교육의 인프라를 체계적으로 갖출 수 있도 록 하는 효과를 가져왔다. 이 사업의 파급효과를 고려한다면 세계 각국에 한 두 개 이상의 사업이 지원될 필요 가 있으며, 한국학의 황무지에서 현장에 맞는 한국학 교육프로그램과 교재개발을 위해서는 지속적인 관심과 지원이 필요하다. 해외 한국학 중핵대학 육성사업은 2006년 9월 이후 지금까지 총 36과제를 선정하여 지원하였다. 중국에서는 연변대학, 중앙민족대학, 남경대학, 중국해양대학, 산동대학 등이 해외중핵대학으로 선정되어 한중 인문 교류 의 중추적 역할을 해낸 바 있다. 해외 한국학 중핵대학육성사업은 저명한 학문집단의 문화교류를 통해 한국학 을 세계의 주류 학문으로 발전시키고 한국의 국제적 위상을 제고하기 위한 사업이라는 점을 감안하여 세계의 많은 국가들과 유수 대학들이 선정될 수 있도록 사업을 대폭 확대해나갈 필요가 있다. 그런데 교육부의 한국학진흥사업 예산이 선진국에 비해 턱없이 적은 금액이어서 사업을원활히 수행하는데 어 려움이 크다. 2013년 한중정상회담에서 ‘한중인문교류 공동위원회’를 설치하여 인문유대를 강화한다는 내용 이 포함되어 있다. 이를 계기로 예산이 대폭 증액되어 한중 인문 교류가 더욱 활성화되기를 기대한다. 또한 한 중인문학자들은 그간 양국에 뿌린 씨앗이 잘 자라서 풍성한 결심을 맺을 수 있도록 인내심과 끈기를 가지고 양국 간의 민족주의,애국주의, 문화우월주의의 경계를 허무는 데 적극 대처해주었으면 한다.
