This study attempted to identify the relationship between experiences of violence victimization and violence on assault, mental health of adolescent under probation. The data were collected from 497 adolescents under probation from questionaries. This study contained the investigation on the degree of experiences victimization at the school or domestic violence of the adolescent under probation, also investigated mental health including depression and suicide and the degree of school violence on physical, emotional assault. The results were as follows. First, 42.9% and 40.3% of adolescent under probation had experience victimization of domestic violence and school violence respectively, which were more high percentage than general adolescent group. Second, 51.3% and 43.1% of adolescent under probation had depression mood and suicidal thinking respectively, which also were more high percentage than general adolescent group. Third, 54.2% of the sample population had experience of school violence on assault, among them 57.5% and 51% had experience on emotional assault and physical assault respectively. Fourth, The experience of domestic and school violence victimization emotionally has been founded to have a positive effect on depression and suicidal thinking, the experience of domestic and school violence victimization physically has been founded to have a positive effect on experience of emotional and physical violence on assault. Finally, according to the results of this study, the authors proposed it is needed community level approaches for adolescent under probation to prevent and deal the violence problems.

본 연구는 보호관찰 청소년을 대상으로 가정 및 학교폭력 피해경험이 정신건 강과 정서 및 물리적 학교폭력 가해행동에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 설계되 었다. 보호관찰을 받고 있는 청소년을 대상으로 설문지를 통해 자료수집이 이루 어졌으며, 497부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 연구내용은 보호관찰 청소년의 가정 및 학교폭력 피해 경험정도와 보호관찰 청소년의 정신건강 및 학교폭력 가해 정 도를 살펴보았으며, 보호관찰 청소년의 가정 및 학교폭력 피해경험이 우울 및 자 살, 학교폭력 가해행동 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 주요 연구결과는 첫째, 보호관찰 청소년의 42.9%가 가정폭력 피해경험(정서적 피해 47.1%, 물리적 피해 38.8%)을 가졌으며, 학교폭력 피해경험은 40.3%(정서적 피해 38.3%, 물리적 피해 42.4%)로 나타나 일반청소년을 대상으로 연구한 결과 와 비교할 때 상당히 높은 수치로 나타났다. 둘째, 보호관찰 청소년의 정신건강에서는 우울한 기분을 가진 응답자가 51.3%, 자살생각은 43.1%, 자실시도는 34.4%가 경험한 것으로 나타나 일반청소년을 대상으로 연구한 결과와 비교할 때 상당한 높은 것으로 나타났다. 학교폭력 가해경험자는 조사대상자의 54.2%로 이 중 57.5%가 정서적 가해를, 51%가 물리적 가해경험을 한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 정서적 가정 및 학교폭력 피해경험은 우울과 자살에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수 로 나타났으며, 물리적 가정 및 학교폭력 피해경험은 정서적, 물리적 학교폭력 가해경험에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수로 나타났다. 주요결과에 대한 논의를 통 해 보호관찰 청소년에 대한 지역사회 보호적 차원의 개입이 요구됨을 제언하였 다.
