Imagination is the ability when it is assumed that the ability to mental images that we do not experience, re-constructed by combining the experience of the past, to create a new image. If you want to apply the art of conversation is based on the imagination like this, image by metaphorical leap, made ​​to appear in aesthetic creativity. It should be therefore, an important goal aesthetic creativity, of art education through the formation of the image of the art of conversation. Therefore, art education for imagination recharge is an important aspect more than anything else in the area of ​​art. Process a series of such, can be understood as a "process of reason for re-creation" and order and beauty of art education. The purpose of this article is intended to show that the reconstruction activities through the criticism of knowledge and value system existing for beauty is an important aspect of art education, it is intended to apply to education this. Based on pictorial art, the educational application is in the process of an order to secure the "artistic imagination" in order to achieve the target learners that aesthetic exploration. This begins with the grounds, such as the following. 상상력이 우리가 경험하지 않은 것을 정신적 이미지로 만드는 능력이라고 했을 때, 이는 이전 경험을 결합하고 재조직하면서 새로운 이미지를 창출하는 능력인 것이다. 이러한 상상력을 기반으로 하여 회화예술에 적용할 경우 은유적 도약에 따른 이미지는 미적 창의성으로 드러나게 된다. 그러므로 회화예술에서 이미지의 형성을 통한 미적 창의성이 예술교육의 주요 목표가 되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 상상력 함양을 위한 예술교육은 예술 영역에서 무엇보다 중요한 측면이다. 이러한 일련의 과정은 예술교육에서 미와 질서 등을 ‘재창조하기 위한 사유 과정’으로 이해할 수 있다. 이 글의 목적은 미에 대한 기존 가치체계와 지식에 대한 비판을 통한 재구성 활동이 예술교육에서 핵심적인 측면임을 보이고 이를 교육에 적용하고자 한다. 회화예술에 기반 한 그 교육적 적용은 학습자들이 미적 탐구라는 목적을 실현하기 위해 ‘예술적 상상력’을 확보해나가는 과정인 것이다. 이는 다음과 같은 근거에서 비롯된다. 상상력에 기반 한 확장적인 사고는 주어진 것을 뛰어넘어 그 과정 속에서 우리의 사고를 도약시켜 준다는 점에서 인지적인 비약을 가능하게 해준다. 확장적 사고는 우리의 사고 자체의 확장뿐 아니라 사고하는 능력 역시 확장시켜 준다는 점에서 창의적이라고 할 수 있다. 또한 창의성은 주어져 있는 것을 새로운 것으로 변형시키는 과정이라는 점에서 이는 상상력을 근간으로 한다.
