Logistical support for the war against future environmental change look, according to the defense budget of the lack of an appropriate level to maintain combat readiness resource-saving logistics support system, the lack of military support personnel gidonghwa system automation and maintenance, logistics support, integrated management system for such diversified desperately needed. 장차 전쟁에 대비하기 위한 군수지원 환경 변화를 살펴보면, 국방예산의 부족에 따라 적정 수준의 전투준비태세 유지를 위해 자원절약형 군수지원체제 구축, 군수지원인력 부족에 따른 자동화 및 기동화 체계 유지, 군수지원에 대한 다원화된 통합관리체계구 축 등이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 이러한 미래 안보 및 군수환경의 변화에 능동적으로 대처하기 위한 한국군의 군수지원체제 발전 방향은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정보화 환경에서 민ㆍ군 물류체계가 상호 효과적으로 연결된 군수 물류체계 개 선, 사용자 중심의 군수지원 성과지표 구축 등 속도관리 중심의 군수지원 체제를 발전 시켜야 한다. 둘째, 작전부대의 작전 템포를 유지하기 위한 작전지속능력 보장을 위해 다단계ㆍ다제 대 지원체제 개선, 군수자산 가시화체계, 민ㆍ관ㆍ군 공통 자산의 통합 관리체제 구축 등을 실현하는 것이라고 할 수 있다.
