This research tried to understand holistic healing system of Ayurveda. First, the basic perspective for healing on ayurveda is to consider as one the body, mind, and sprit, and at the same time each has a particular way of healing. In holistic Ayurveda, humans can transform being from Physical level to the deepest spiritual level by great vitality and creativity at all levels. It also presents main personality types according to three biological disposition. The goal of healing is healing of body, mind, and sprit, and its ideal goal is wareness development or spiritual transcendence. The healing process is self awareness, self execution and transformationand the healing stage changes from tamas to rajas, and sattva healing stage. It applies the healing techniques complementarily according to each dosha and disease condition. This research will provide a very meaningful perspective on diversification and educational practice of healing area by clarifying the holistic healing system of Ayurveda.

이 연구는 아유르베다의 홀리스틱 치유 체계에 관한 연구로서, 먼저 아유르베다의 치유에 대한 기본관점으로 몸, 마음, 영혼을 하나의 체계로 보며, 그 각각에 통용되는 특정한 방법들을 가지고 있다. 아유르베다의 홀리스틱 인간관에서 인간은 모든 수준에서 대단한 생명력과 창조성을 지닌 존재로서 신체적인 수준으로부터 가장 깊은 영적 수준으로 변형시킬 수 있는 가능성을 갖는다. 그리고 세 가지 생물학적 기질에 따라 주요한 성격 유형을 밝혀 두었다. 치유의 목표는 몸과 마음, 영혼의 치유를 목표로, 자각의 발달(awareness development), 즉 영적 초월을 그 이상적 목표로 삼는다. 치유 과정은 자기 인식과 자기 수행, 변형의 과정으로, 따마스적 단계로부터 라자스적 단계, 그리고 사뜨와적 치유 단계로 변형될 수 있다. 치유 기법은 각 도샤와 내담자의 질병 상태에 따라 보완적으로 적용한다. 이 연구는 아유르베다가 홀리스틱 치유 체계임을 밝힘으로써, 치유 영역의 다양화와 교육의 실천에도 매우 의미 있는 관점을 갖게 될 것이다.
